As a caveat I'll start by saying that I use this fan mostly as a white noise generator. I was travelling and my hotel/apartment didn't have a fan in the room so I picked this one up. It's both loud and quiet enough to have on a bedside table all night. I leave it on high and it seems to move the air around the room very well. Doesn't oscillate, only two speeds, but $30 for a Vornado is a decent price. I'm sure there are other models out there for cheaper but the limited selection at the local Best Buy offered this. This is a great little fan for a bedroom. Moves a good amount of air, and does it fairly quietly. (Much quieter than a box fan.) Well worth the money.

Despite this fan only having two speeds, it makes for a great nightstand fan. I usually use this fan on the lowest setting and have it directly blowing on me at night. When this fan is paired with a smart plug, Alexa is able to create a routine before you go to bed. The build quality seems durable.

Where I work is hot and this is a perfect size to help keep me cool. Not loud and has power. Nice.

The fan is good for the price given, it is not that strong. Ideal for small places, if you want to feel the coolness.
