I purchased this phone two weeks ago and have had no issues that would keep me from buying it again. I chose it initially, because it had a low price and was in stock at the store. My wife who usually stays away from electronics had it set up in a few minutes and she likes it too. It looks good and feels solid. I dropped one of the handsets on a wood floor accidentally and it did not leave a mark. We have the base set up with in 2 feet of our wireless router and it has no static nor does it interfere with our baby monitor. I can walk outside in the backyard with no loss of connection or impact to sound quality. The sound is clear and the ear piece is plenty loud. I like the fact that the call log is shared, so if you clear the missed call indicator or voice mail on one handset they all reflect it. My only complaints would be that some things could be easier to get to in the menu system (for example handset ringer volume) and that it has a limited selection of ring tones.

This phone has great sound and range. You can select a different ringer for each handset. You can retrieve messages from any of the handsets. Each handset can be used to call one of the others. Each handset has a speakerphone, caller ID, lighted display and keypad, and only the base unit needs a phone jack.

I purchased this set for a older family member who has a hard time normally using anything with buttons. She has no problem using this phone or the answering machine in the base station. Its pretty much a plug and play install. Volume levels are good for people that are a little hard of hearing. Buttons are easy to reach. Range seems good and the audio quality is great. We purchased the 1 base, 3 extension deal but was happy to see that we can expand up to 12 extensions and they only cost about $15.00 each! We have also owned other Vtech phones and have been very happy with the quality over time so hopefully these will last just as long.

Having an intercom between all four handsets is a great convenience. My elderly parents can now answer the phone and transfer it to the intended person without going up/down the stairs. Two weeks ago my father ruptured his quadricep tendon and will be bedridden for months. This new phone allows him to be able to communicate with anyone in the house without leaving his bed or shouting. All he has to do is pick up the phone press the transfer button then the handset number he wants to reach and he's able to talk to anyone in the house. We have the base station& handset in the kitchen down stairs and a handset in each bedroom. When the phone rings you can look at the display on the handset and tell whether it’s an incoming call or just an intercom call from another handset. Also the different types of ring tones available are pleasant with the ability to set the volume for each handset. I was so impressed with this VTech phone/answering machine/intercom that I had to write a review.

I have had these phones for about 8 months. I needed a phone that I could hold on to with my shoulder because I have a toddler that I carry around the house. These phones fit perfectly between my shoulder and my ear. My toddler throws these phones, chews on them and tries to give them to the dog - they are durable! The sound is great whether you are using speaker phone or regular phone. I hate using the speaker on my cell phone because I can never hear it. These phones have excellent volume and clarity. This was exactly what I needed to fit my lifestyle!

For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to record my greeting but with help from VTech support they helped me clearly see what I was doing wrong. I think it's a great phone for the price & tons of features.

This is the best phone available. It has speakerphone, call transfer, call ID, ability to store numbers, and you only need one telephone jack to install all four lines. They do however run on electrical outlets. So if your power goes out, so does your telephone.

I needed a phone with a loud distinct ring that would come from all the handsets. For YEARS I used a set of V-Tech phones and loved them! Then one day I realized too late that I had accidentally spilled something into the base unit and it quit working. I spent a couple of hours reading reviews & comparing prices & couldn't find anything that persuaded me to change brands. So I bought these- and I love them!!! The sound quality is good, and the handsets have really good loud rings!!

Great for a home office. Now I have a phone in every room with it's own distinctive ring. They have good clarity, are easy to use, and don't interfere with the rest of my wireless environment like the 5.8 verson did. I only wish they had a belt clip and a wider base so they could stand on their own.

Have had for a little over a month. Is great easy to set up. Only thing that I have a problem with but not a big issue is you cannot see from a distance if you have any messages from an angle you cannot see the number. I love that each handset is numbered. To make easy for the family I put a number on the bottom of each to correspond with the handset so I know who is not putting the phone back on their set.

I GOT THIS TO REPLACE MY OLD PHONES iI LIKE THE PHONE BECAUSE I CAN SET UP MY ANSWEING MACH. AND ALSO USE MY VOICE MAIL AT THE SAME TIME MY OLD PHONE YOU COULDN'T VERY SLIM HAS GOOD VOLUME

I'm loving this phone system. We can finally have phones in all bedrooms, even the ones without working phone jacks. My family is using the intercom feature, too. We use the phone company's answering service instead of the phone's built-in answering machine, and (contrary to a previous review) the phone indicates visually when voicemail is waiting. I was worried that it would be hard for more than one person to use the system on a conversation, but we've had no problem with that. We haven't tested all of this phone's features or found its weaknesses yet, but after a week of use, it is exactly what we wanted and has not disappointed us in any way.

This phone system is great. Easy to use, easy to set up. With four grandkids living with us, the intercom sure does come in handy. A well as the speaker phone. For the price, this phone is great!!!

Easy to set up and program speed dials. The only knock is that only two instruments can be off hook, and talking.

There is not a better phone on the market for the price. Great sound and range. When you set one phone up the others are automatically set up. The answering system is very clear and very easy to use.

Since I previously owned V-tech phones, I was familiar with their system and how easily their options were selected. These phones had many more options, and updated features like programming contacts on one phone and it rolling over to all four. I also like the ability to wall mount one of them without an additional purchase of mounting equipment like another product. A good system, easy to figure out without reading instructions, and a good value for the price!

I just got the phone on 6/10/11. It took me 10min to hock it all up. Also it was very easy to set up the answering machine and put my voice on it. The rest of the set up was a braze to do.
