Great phone with bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These phones replace panasonic phones which were so noisy they were almost unusable. Very pleased with quality of calls. Bluetooth capabilities are a great plus. Downloaded 250 contacts from my cell with no problems. Contrary to what was stated by a previous poster, the base unit will automatically pair with cell phones when within range. You just need to select the appropriate feature on your cell to automatically allow it. A very convenient feature. You can also set up different ringtones for home, cell 1, and cell 2. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the flexibility this phone system has to offer.

Great phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I reviewed several phones before purchasing this one. I have always had the best luck with V-tech phones. This one caught my eye because of the bluetooth technology - you can connect your cell phone to it as long as it is 30 feet from the base - we keep ours on the charger while at home and use the bluetooth to get calls on this phone. The quality of the voice is great - no background noise. We are also able to download our directories through our cell phone onto this unit - each handpiece communicates with each other so you don't have to program each one separately. This unit came with 3 handpieces and the price was great - Definitely would recommend.

Great Phone To Manage Multiple Phones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ready to go out of the box, after charging, with minimal set up. It is easy to connect Bluetooth enabled mobile phone or headset. Easy to make and receive calls, using the Vtech, running through your cell phone. No more running to get you cell phonewhen it rings. Would be nice if you could have more distinct rings for things like family and friends.

Great phone, easy to setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is way better than the Uniden it replaced. Good sound quality, good coverage, cellular bluetooth works great. A few minor errors in downloading my iphone directory but 98% correct. Great feature that land line and one cell phone call can work simultaneously on separate handsets. Very satisfied

Loud, Clear, and Bluetooth Works Great! The Best!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had many cordless phones over the years, and this system comes with a base station and three handsets, works as well as any I've ever had, and is sold at a very fair price! The sound is very clear, and this is a nice solution for combining my landline and my cell phone into one cordless phone system to make and answer calls when at home. Great job Vtech!

Excellent Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.just purchased this phone a few days ago and i am already very pleased. It was extremely easy to set up, my cell phones auto connect when in range with great sound quality. The range is also very good on both the blue tooth and DECT frequencies. I've been looking for a phone to provide these functions for a while and this definitely fits the bill.

Best home phone I have ever used
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have researched serveral brands (ATT, Uniden, Panasonic, VTech) and finally decided to go with VTech, simply because this phone has best value-to-price for my need. First I am not a power user of home phone. I purchased this at a huge discount and use it primary for home security monitoring, so the value/price is very good. The sound quality of handset and speakerphone are great. You can browse call logs and do setups from any handset. If this can help save further, I would pick the similar model without answering system as my phone line provider offers the voicemail feature in my plan. I have not tried bluetooth yet so no comment on that.

Phone that does it all.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is easy to use. It hooks up to our cell phones as soon as we walk in the door and you don't have to mess with it. You can listen to your voice mail from any headset. You can use the headset and it will go through your cell phone. It is just an all around good phone system. Highly suggest to anyone that wants a phone that does it all.

Great phone system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an older 2.4ghz system that was having a lot of interference problems. I tried two other brand names before this one with poor results. This is the only phone system I found that has crystal clear call quality and good features. It is missing a couple of features that some others have, but they are not a deal breaker. Others have complained about bluetooth problems, but I am not currently using it; so cannot comment.

Sound Quality Depends on Cell Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We shut down our land line with Verizon and ported the number to my cell phone. The Bluetooth connection has worked flawlessly... pairing the cell to the base station as soon as we drive in to the garage. The sound quality is not as good as the land line... but it's as good as the cell phone ever was. We only get one bar in our neighborhood. If you get more your sound quality might be better. I found the same V-tech unit at Costco with a 4th phone for the same price.

Great for at home/business use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reception is great and I can link my personal and business cell into our house phone and not miss a call. I am able to use all over our house which is great!!! Would recommend this even if I didn't have a land-line already. I now don't have to dig in my purse each time the phone rings.

Great Upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from an old AT&T model. I had no problems getting my Blackberry Curve and the wife's LG ENV to sync with the base. I put the base in an upstairs bedroom, and both phones pair up when you walk in the front door. Easy to download cell phone directories (1043 contacts on mine took less than 10 minutes), and easy to make and receive cell phone calls. Everything worked so well, I ordered three more handesets to go with it.

Great phone system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great phone system. Sets up easily. Bluetooth phone connection is clear. You can also use a bluetooth headset for hands free use. The phone has great range, not only covering my entire yard of 1 acre, but even over to the neighbor's yard as well. Each handset also has a clear screen for caller ID and menu use.

Be careful if you intend to use the Bluetooth feat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone system because I had cancelled my traditional landline phone service. When I found out about it, I was ecstatic, thinking that since my cell phone (Samsung Instinct) was Bluetooth-capable, this would be a perfect solution. After unpacking everything, and making sure that the handsets were all charged, I followed the instructions to upload my contacts from my cell phone to the VTech. All good, so far... Wow, now I can make and receive cell calls from any of the handsets positioned strategically around my house, right? WRONG. I never have any problem connecting to the VTech from my cell phone; in fact, it is set up such that once I get into range of the VTech base, it connects automatically. The problem lies in making and receiving calls. Even though the VTech shows that my cell is connected to the base unit, many times when my cell rings, the HANDSETS DO NOT RING. Sometimes the handset rings, BUT WHEN I ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THE CALL USING A HANDSET, IT ANSWERS THE CELLPHONE, BUT I CAN'T HEAR OR TALK ON THE HANDSET, RATHER, I HAVE TO SCRAMBLE TO GET TO MY CELL PHONE, WHICH HAS THE CALL IN PROGRESS. Worse yet, those few times that the handset DOES 'properly' answer a cell call, I HAVE HAD IT DROP THE CONNECTION in the middle of the conversation. Again, I have to quickly find and use my cell phone to complete the conversation. I have spent some time with VTech customer service, hoping to get a replacement, or a solution, but basically they weren't willing to listen once they found out that my Samsung cell phone was not on their 'list of tested devices'. In trying to solve the problem myself, I have tried to isolate all other Bluetooth and wireless router devices, since VTech's documentation mentions that they could cause interference. This did NOT solve the problem. So, in summary, this a wonderful idea that fell flat since I didn't have a 'supported device'. If you're going to buy one, MAKE SURE that you keep all receipts, and packaging so that you can return it if it doesn't work for you. Unfortunately, during my testing, my packaging got thrown away, so I am stuck with this system. In addition, I would refer to the VTech user guide for this phone system to ensure that your cell phone is on their list of 'tested devices'.

Been waiting for a phone like this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have been waiting for a home phone to connect with cell phone. Landine call quality is Excellent. Cell phone paired with base easily - so far no issues making or receiving cellphone calls. Almost bought the AT&T because none of the Best Buy reviews compained about the bluetooth - but several did for the V-tech. But in-store liked the V-tech bigger buttons, placment of buttons and more solid feel. Plus have had good luck with V-tech in past.

Iphone Booster
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone because I needed a new home phone and liked the compact, contemporary styling, What I did not realize and, the best thing about it is that I can sync it to my Iphone and use it at home even though I have poor ATT coverage. I keep the base unit in a spot that has the most bars, leave my iphone on the same table, and I can talk on my Iphone via my home phone anywhere on my property without experiencing the frequent dropped calls I had prior to this purchase. I had almost given up my beloved Iphone because of dropped calls. I could not be happier.

Works well for ONE Cell Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone works great if you have poor cell phone reception in your house and you only want to connect one cell phone. I like that you can download your contact list from your phone into this phone's directory. If you have two cell phones, then don't buy this phone. Here's why * You can only receive calls on one cell phone at a time. If you have two calls come in at the same time, the first will ring through on the cordless phone, the second will only ring on the cell phone and you'll have to answer it on your cell phone. * More importantly, if you've received two calls at the same time and the first one (the one that rang through to the cordless phone) hangs up, the second phone is automatically then connected to the cordless phone, CUTTING OFF the second caller. That was why we returned it. * Finally, it never did work with my wife's phone even when she was the only one using her phone. It would connect via Bluetooth and it would dial her phone and it would ring, but you could not talk on the cordless phone and you could not hear anything either. My wife has a Motorola VE20 so don't buy this phone if you have a VE20. I have a ROKR and it worked fine with my phone.

We like this phone system!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We like that the phones can be used as intercoms. My husband takes one to the garage and if he needs to tell me something he uses it and no wasted cell minutes etc. Sound is good. Small size, we like that.
