I bought this item as Christmas gift for my son when he saw it at the store and said he's always wanted this item. It is a little pricey for a kid's toy but it looks to be made well and of high quality material. My son seems to be really happy with it, so I guess it is a great product, although, we are yet to try it under water when we get to Key West in February.

We recently took our first international family vacation with our 7 year old twins. The trip included a lot of adventure days in and out of the water. I wanted waterproof cameras for both kids so they could take their own pictures. This camera really fit the bill. It's much smaller than I expected - it fits in the palm of your hand - and I worried it would get lost but kids managed it well. We only took the camera, strap and waterproof case so I can't speak to the other parts. When the cameras arrived (and quickly, thanks Best Buy) I was disappointed they had video games in them BUT that feature turned out to be a real ancillary benefit. It kept the kids occupied in the car and on planes, and while waiting in line. There are a lot of features in this camera - frames, filters (the "negative" filter was really popular), self-timer, etc. Kids learned the features quickly and we didn't need the manual with us. Negatives: I do wish it was a bit bigger, although it fits in a kid's pocket which is handy. And I removed a star because it needs some kind of stability control in the settings - if the "photographer" or subjects are moving at all the image is blurry. The photos are also slightly over-saturated in color, which reminded me of the old Polaroid pics. I actually liked that aspect but you may not. Regardless, many of the kid pics came out great, and the videos came out even better. My daughter took over 300 pictures in eight days - shots I never would have gotten myself. Now we have vacation memories unique to their perspective. I've included two of my daughter's good photos, one underwater. Overall great little camera, highly recommend.

When the kids said they wanted GoPro cameras for Christmas, my initial thought was, "Nope. Not gonna happen." Leave it to my wife to find a decent and VERY affordable alternative. The VTech - Kidizoom Action Camera - Black/Yellow is NOT a GoPro and doesn't come with all of the accessories and such to allow you to attach it to your head or to a helmet; however, those kinds of things DO exist, and they're also, VERY affordable. The VTech - Kidizoom Action Camera - Black/Yellow is easy to use, easy to charge and takes decent photos. No, they're not the 4k shots you get off a GoPro, but for the money, they do the job, and you get the kind of action photos and videos you would expect to see when you're running, skateboarding, bike riding etc. You can store tons of video with a 32GB microSD card (not included...) The kids... love these cameras. I... love the price; and my wife... she saved Christmas. If you don't mind not having 4k resolution, this is a no brainer when it comes to price; and for the money, you get to have a lot of fun.

Our grandson was well pleased with this camera, but I was a little disappointed at the size of the camera. It is very small and I suppose it has to be to be able to attach to bicycle handlebars. It is a good camera for a young beginner, though.

I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He could not wait to ripe into the box and start using it. We charged it up and headed for the pool. It was super easy to set up and we all had a lot of fun with it. Next adventure was on the quad. Once we found a spot to mount it off he was making memories.

It's a really practical action camera for kids. I bought this for my 4 year old. She loves it. She carries it around everywhere. She love to take pics and videos. Although you need a SD card if you want to record on 720p. Overall is a good camera has games, filters for video and photo.

Gave my 3 1/2 year old on vacation to keep her from wanting to play with GoPro. Picture and video quality is okay at best. Games included were low quality. She was able to take pictures and videos easily. Holds charge for several hours. Waterproof case works well. Great kid camera.

Our granddaughter spent hours of fun in the pool enjoying the underwater video capability of this versatile camera.

This camera is a good deal for those seeking to have your child with a camera or video and they don't have a phone.

Bought this camera for my 3 yr old son as he has really taken to wanting to use my camera for taking pictures. He absolutely loves the camera & the added features of the camera. It comes with accessories and a major plus for the underwater accessory.

Our nine year old son loves this camera and actually got it as a gift for Christmas. He has the attachment setup on his bike so he can mount the camera and go. He has a lot of fun taking pictures and videos and watching them on the computer or viewing them. He also really enjoys the different settings for pictures and the way he can edit them with different backgrounds and stickers as well as change the features of the picture. The video footage is actually really clear and doesn't cut out when he hit bumps. The battery life is rather impressive as well. He can go for hours.

We love this camera! It was smaller than I expected, but perfect for little hands. My 4 year old took hundreds of pictures during our vacation. Its great to see the vacation through a little guys eyes. Perfect vacation gift!

I bought this camera for a cross country motorcycle ride, it took ok pictures and videos. It's no GoPro, but it was ok for the price.

I love to watch my son play and all of his expressions. I hope he can record them for us so we have them documented

Gift for my great nephew, he says he likes it. I hope he got some good action shots on his 4 wheeler.

This is a great camera for kids. My son got this when he was 7 and it was very easy for him to use.

This is a great toy and kids will have a good time playing with it. It comes with everything you need for any activity. Waterproof case, helmet and handlebar attachment. Would have given 5 stars if the quality of video was better.

We purchased this for our aspiring 5 year old vlogger. He loves it and can easily navigate the controls. After installing an additional SD card, he can record high amounts of pictures and videos. Construction is quite durable as well.
