It's a really good portable scanner - it's actually one of the few that are handheld. It does what it says it does - just don't expect professional quality.

This is a great product! It was easy to learn to use and extremely convenient, especially if I want to scan a page in a book. I can get the entire page without breaking the spine of the book like would happen if I used a copier. It saves lots of paper, too! Money well-spent!

I bought this because I knew I would be scanning some pages on a trip. This scanner worked great. Pages were crystal clear. Only knock would be that you have to buy a micro SD card. Should come with one, even a small one.

Very efficient and effective for small scanning jobs on full sheets of paper. Easy to transport anywhere and connect to a laptop to transmit docs. I copy instruction labels and small manuals and then discard them. Easy to connect to laptop. No charging hassles as it runs on batteries. Love it.

I was given this for Christmas. I always seem to scan a lot of repair manuals-into pdf format. My hope was this could make a quick task of hard back manuals. Sadly not so much. The scanner works very well, in every way. For what ever reason it is a bit too thick to get near the spine of a book. Now I doubt most folks will be using it for this purpose. For simple single loose page items-this is just perfect.

Easy to use for on the go scanning. We have scanned documents and have been able to send them at a moment's notice without going to Kinko's or running home. Be sure to purchase an SD card.

I had a good experience in the ordering, shipping, set-up and use of this product. I recommend purchasing a USB card and case along with it. Little ackward when trying to scan thicker objects til I found a good way.... I recommend this product to anyone who travels !! :)

I needed a handheld scanner to scan items mounted in a very old scrapbook, where using a flatbed was not an option. The VuPoint does exactly what they say it does, for a very affordable price. It does require a steady hand to avoid skewed images, and at times the colors seem a bit dark, though this is easily corrected with a graphic editor. One must also have a MicroSD card (not included). Certainly this is no substitute for a good flatbed scanner, but for applications where that is not an option, it is extremely useful.

This portable scanner is amazing. I have a huge collection of magazine clippings that I kept in a binder for years. My plan was to scan each page, but it was taking forever on my flatbed and I burned myself out, so I stopped. Since I've gotten this scanner, I pulled them out again. In a day and a half, I scanned over 400 items

This scanner is very portable and yet produces a fair quality scan. Best scans are dependent on the "human intervention" effort made to ensure item is flat (no wrinkles/frayed edges) and scanning motion with hand is smooth, straight and evenly spaced/timed. If you're looking for an average readable quality to scan documents while traveling ... great product.

I purchased these for work and we have found them to save time, postage, copying costs etc. We need copies of tenant files for verification. Instead of requesting tenants have copies made and sent to use, now we scan the documents and print when we return to the office.

Excellent tool! Was able to easily transport it to various places in order to scan photos for family reunion. Worked smoothly and easily, with excellent quality. One of my favorite accessories. Other family members are very interested in purchasing one now that they have seen how it works.

I use this product to scan documents I use in court and for graduate school. It scans quickly and clearly. I have not had much luck with pictures but I bought it to scan documents and books. I use this to scan articles and paperwork on the run and to scan books so I can use the OCR to make an audio file so I can listen to the books when audiobook options are not available.
