I've been using a 1st-gen Surface Pro for drawing and animating, but it's speed and battery life has not been that great as time has gone on. Having an external Cintiq tablet hooked up to my more powerful desktop is great. Plus I was able to get it for half price on clearance. Can't beat that deal. Also, for those that may not know, this cannot be used standalone. It must be connected to a computer as it essentially acts as an external monitor.

My only qualm is that the unit itself disconnects frequently due to the OS Windows 8 and 10. IT CONFLICTS WITH THE DRIVER. Windows sucks.

If you are looking for a professional tablet this one is incredibly accurate.

my daughter loves to draw anime and she really wanted this tablet. I read the reviews and decided it would make a GREAT GRADUATION PRESENT. She loves it. Perfect screen size comes with a stand. Just amazing!

As a designer, this tablet helps a lot in making my artworks a lot easier and manageable. Complex work will be much easier because you can see what you are working on and doing it directly on your artwork.

I originally had a huion, but after i bought the cintiq that was it. I don't even normally draw traditionally anymore. I'm always on my cintiq. Its easy to set up,light weight, and the pen pressure and all the other features on it are fantastic. I dont think id ever switch to anything else.

Ive been using Wacom tablets for over 10 years and this Cintiq is the best one I've used in a long time. Its small enough that I can travel with it and work on the go, and the HD resolution is great.

I really enjoy using this tablet. The paper like surface really makes drawing digitally a breeze.

My adult daughter truly has an artists eye and heart. She has trained and expanded her natural abilities and can and does work with any medium. She has of late been creating 3D imagery for print and creating 3D computer files for 3D printers. The one medium she had loved working with to make her illustrated story pages but did not possess was a Cintiq. This 13HD is the perfect size for designing and drawings as it is based on the size of a standard sheet paper and because of Best Buy's great sale I was finally able to acquire one for her. It is incredible how fast, complex and professional looking the finished designs she creates come to life.

Ideally, I would've purchased the tablet version of this so I could do some of my work on the go, but for my budget, this works great! I might be buying the wireless components in the future to eliminate excessive cables, otherwise I'm quite satisfied. Precision pen and pressure sensitivity works well for detailed projects. It was actually easy to use my laptop screen as my second monitor for reference while working primarily with the pen display. If the pen gets off track, use the display toggle button, if that doesn't bring it back, just recalibrate the pen (takes only a few seconds if you leave the calibration window open in the background).

Unfortunately we bought this and then 1 month later they came out with a new model...otherwise, though it works great.

Setup was very easy except on my all-in-one configuration does not have hdmi. Had to purchase an adapter to convert HDMI to USB to have a display connection. Adobe flash bugs. Works well with most other programs.

This item was a gift for my kid who needed this for school and it works great for her, I myself don't use it, so everything is working fine this.

This is an obnoxiously corded device, one cord from the power outlet separates into 3 pieces, one attaching to the Cintiq, and 2 to the laptop/desktop... a video cable and usb. This set up makes it inconvenient with a laptop. Your best bet is to set this up on a desk and leave it alone. Then you'll appreciate that fact that it works great, but if you're a more mobile user, you'll find yourself using it a lot less just because of the extra thirty seconds of plugging and unplugging and wrangling the cord.

The functionality is good once you are able to get the tablet set up. Needed to buy a separate cable to connect to our iMac. Set up on Mac was challenging

Bought as a graduation gift for our daughter. She loves it! Did not take her long to get it going and creating.

The Cintiq 13hd has really helped me become a better graphic designer. It has really improved my art ,and how I look at digital art as a whole. This product has a fast learning curve too so you'll get used to it in a few hours or so. The graphics tablet I started with was the Huion 420 which was a great tablet to start with ;however, I wanted to get more in depth with digital art so I switched to the Cintiq. A big leap in price and performance, but it was well worth the money.
