Customers highly value the Intuos Art Creative Medium Pen and Touch Tablet's ease of use and its suitability for drawing, with many praising its intuitive design and quality. Positive feedback also highlights the pressure sensitivity of the pen and the included software, which is considered beneficial for beginners. However, some users experienced issues with the pen itself, driver installation, and compatibility with certain systems. A few also noted occasional lag, and the lack of a wireless option.

My daughter LOVES this tablet. It is easy to use, and does exactly what she wanted it to! She is so happy to have this as another way to enhance her talents. The only problem we had with this purchase is that it does not come with the software needed! Only the trial version, then you have to purchase the software separately. Overall a fantastic purchase!

This is our forth tablet. Over ten years I've bought two for my daughter to use for drawing and two for my wife to help her teach math classes

With the exception of having to return the original device for a replacement (the back cover once removed would not slide back into place) the device was easy for my 11 year old to set up and use on her own without much help from me. She already has made some beautiful art!

Had a small Wacom Bamboo Pen for the last 10 years, still works fine but needed a bigger pad and was starting wear pretty bad on the surface lol but in all seriousness, the people that have marked this thing for 1 - 3 stars apparently has no idea how Wacom products work. Yes they have a driver, no there really isn't a manual to help (there is a step by step process while installing. Not hard for people to read. On top of that, you can find one on their site.), no the initial setup will NOT be what you want. configure it (simple to do and I am using a Mac AND PC with it). It jumps because the tablet is set up to be used where you put the pen at the tablet is where the cursor will "jump" to. Yes, the program they put in the CD with the product is a trial. Nothing is as free as some state. Oh well, get another program that YOU are used to. Everyone is different! I use this with all the art programs that I draw on and they all use the tablet without any hesitations or restrictions. Only restriction is what your program is limited to.

I expected this to be as nice as the old $99 one I had bought almost 10 years ago...
This one seems to be a bit janky and will cause any circles I try to draw to come out as ovals and the pen seems to not draw things as I intend. I pulls the lines in programs and seems to have miscommunication between the pen and the pad.

This is my first Wacom tablet. Hook-up was easy and it comes with Corel Painter Essential 5 application. I'm totally happy with the device, but do wish for more tutorials for the Corel app. It does contain help links for some beginner tutorials, but I wish they were interactive so I can practice as I learn.

I thought this would be a fun way to get into digital art creation, and for the most part, it is. There's a bit of a learning curve, some coaxing to get the drivers installed correctly, but overall does what it says it will do. My biggest issue is move nag the cursor around the board. It's a bit tricky getting it where you want it to go, especially in the outer fringes. Also, a resident program would have been nice. I ended up using Gimp, but you can use this with any graphics program. There are a lot of settings and options available.
This is a great tool if you have an aptitude for digital art. If you just want to mess around, there are probably cheaper ways to do it.

My New Tablet = Pretty Bad A*s

Alright I am Happy with my tablet. At first i wasn't. there was a couple issues I was annoyed and frustrated with, how ever will a little patients and a couple phone calls and google I was able to iron out.
First issue was this tablet came with Corel Painter how ever for what ever reason it would not install at all for me, so i contacted Corel and they said its a pretty common issue for what ever reason, and that I would have to install it in sage mode with network enabled and they sent me a special install file. so contact them and they will send it to you.
Second issue< after the first night if i wasn't using the tablet and it sat for too long it seemed like the drivers uninstalled them self and i would have to keep running and installing the disk and restarting. I called Wacom and customer service had me install it as administrator, and the tech said its a windows conflict if it doesn't work and its typically has to do with having to disabling something in windows that i would have to contact Microsoft since im running windows 7. Well the admin installed worked for like a day but then back to having to reinstall it again. so I started reading on google on how to disable this pen issue cause i didnt want to call Microsoft. the pen issues which is a conflict with a little like note pad that comes on your screen when its detects a tablet. (its a stupid little tool and isnt needed its part of windows.) i found a nice little site that offers a tool to tablet users to disable it and it breaks it down a little better. >> http://viziblr.com/news/2011/8/13/fix-my-pen-makes-your-wacom-tablet-just-work-on-windows-7.html
Third issue< Corel Im not a super big fan of it but im not super familiar with it either.still a program im messing around with in my free time. Im a Graphic Designer and use all adobe programs the tablets works great for drawing solid lines and vectoring but you dont get to use the pressure sensitivity of the pen if you use like Photoshop or illustrator. Corel painter lets you use the pressure sensitivity so you can go from fine lines to dark bold lines just with how hard you press the pen on the tablet. I see the potential of Corel Painter but I dont really like the lay out of it. so i started researching and came across a pretty sweet FREE program called KRITA if your a Photoshop user you'll love it, its kinda laid out like it and very easy to get use too. I attached a drawing i did using my tablet and Krita software. https://krita.org/
After all the issues were taken care of with drivers and installation with software Im happy that I put out the $200 for my tablet.
as for the people that say theirs didn't come with software non of them do its all done online now and you are issues a key, the key is located on the black box front flap its a print of a white key with your key code printed on it, when you go online to wacom and register it walks you thru it all. you get other cool free stuff to as well.
Hope this helps
I gave a four star cause of the pain issues and my frustrations.

Works great.
I wish there were instructions that came with it as I had no idea how to use it. I also wish I had bought the kit to make it wireless at the same time while I in the store. I didn't realize I needed that either, but I believe those issues were a lack of research before purchasing.
