That's the way it feels when drawing on this Wacom Intuos Pen Tablet (Medium). I've been a loyal Wacom user since 1996. And while I've tried variety of other products over the years, I keep coming back to Wacom. The feel and customization can't be beat! However, this most recent upgrade did require one additional purchase - a $30 Smooth Texture Sheet. I don't like the toothy feel of the original tablet surface and I would go through nibs like crazy. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this current Wacom model. It has twice the pressure sensitivity of my previous tablets. And while the active area is about the same, the actual tablet is a bit smaller. This allows for a more comfortable placement with less reach needed to move across two monitors. I would most definitely recommend the Medium Intuos Pro Pen Tablet

I'm loving the new style! It's much smaller than the last model but smaller in a good way(thinner and less bulky). You can also tell it's more sensitive then the last model, it's so more precise. The pro pen 2 also feels better in the hand. The only bad thing is the new nibs the pen uses wears out faster. Beside that everything is great! Ps. It's still a USB-3 cable so I had to buy an adapter to use it on my computer which only has USB-C.

This Pro line of the Wacom Intuos model is just great, everything works perfectly. If you're familiarized with this kind of product, I can tell you that This Size is the best, at least it works great for me, I'm a professional Illustrator, and a Video Creator enthusiast, and use this device for both. If you're a colorist, for example, and you don't have the budget for a Cintiq, this is for me the best recommendation I can give you. I've started my career doing colors for Comics, and I've started with an Intuos 1, just imagine... This is like a Ferrari of the Intuos. Sensitivity pressure, touch and a app Ring works perfectly, a great tool for starting professional artists.

Took a few goes to get the hang of using this. But the control is unmatched. The iPad is great in a lot of ways but this is just better. once you get used to the no screen thing, it's very much easier to use; and have become my go to option for digital art. Pros: doesn't overheart, lots of control from the 8K plus pressure points, everything is really responsive and easy to map/set up, toggable touch screen, medium is plenty of surface space, great as a touch mouse pad, the smoothest digital drawing experience ever, zero delay when plugged in (barely noticeable delay when in bluetooth), comes with 2 whole years of clip studio paint (which is such a great deal for beginners who are on a budget), slim and light weight (easy to store when not in use). Cons: learning curve, pen often falls out of pen holder, the buttons on the pen are too low making them easy to accidently press, touch screen doesn't have great palm rejection when drawing. Would rather a larger interface and no buttons (I use the keyboard for my commands), the tablet scratches easily if you use the plastic pen tip, only works on PC (not compatible with Apple and procreate or other tablets), very expensive! (I still bought it, but sometimes I remember the price of this thing and I still cringe a little bit.)

Works great, perfect size, easy to customize buttons, nice stand. My only gripe is that the surface texture is rough and so my nibs wear down very quickly (my job requires me to use it every day) so I wish the different surface layers came with it to customize or that it said on the package which texture it is. Other than that, this is a really nice tablet. Quite the upgrade from my old Wacom Bamboo Create from 2012. Would definitely recommend for beginner and intermediate artists

I had been wanting a tablet like this for a while now and when I had the chance, I took it. I do not regret at all. This tablet is really nice and comfortable to use. Installing is really easy. It doesn’t respond amaaazzinnngggllyy to being wireless (pressure differences don’t respond) but I prefer the cord anyway so it doesn’t bother me. I love being able to zoom in and out of my work. I haven’t assigned anything to the buttons just bc I don’t really need to but I have looked at what you can do just to check and it’s really simple to change things. The touch option is really cool too since it matches to your whole screen so imagine that irritating little track pad on your laptop and then make it bigger. Now you have the God of trackpads where you never have to lift your finger to readjust :). I had to call customer support once and when it was all resolved I realized it was my own fault lol, but they stay with you until the problem is fixed (the guy I had even cracked a joke). But seriously, this tablet is really nice (a little pricy but once you use it you’ll understand where your money went). Very good quality

it has an incredible level of sensitivity until you feel like you are grinding your pen nib, which you are, so get ready to make your own out of weed wacker cord or buy really expensive nibs from them. also the bluetooth connection is NOT straight forward and you have to hold the center wheel button down for PC to see the correct bluetooth connection. it is very slow and laggy on the screen with many different render stations I use. I love the corded response, usb-C cable just to let you know. the wheel is fun but laggy, and the buttons might just be a bit too meh when you have a keyboard mouse and wheel as well. I think there's a lot of hype on some of the specs, so unless you really need an incredible amount of detail, get something less expensive, and don't rely on the bluetooth to be butter smooth, the reaction on the screen with the mouse icon is not at all. also you have to use the wacom desktop software to update the firmware and software drivers directly from wacom before you even bother to use the tablet. that is a lot of stuff to cover if you think you can just unbox and use it. which is a negative to me. wacom should have many videos online explaining this and a much better dummies guide to this, even a one panel image etc. great box and presentation to the purchase and a very sturdy build. the battery lasts a very long time. the touch is a novelty, why would you use it? to rotate an image you are drawing on? imagine how much you would accidentally fudge it while also drawing with the pen on it and the edge of your palm. pluses and minuses but overall the right tablet if you cannot afford a surface pro and want to draw on 2k-4k monitors. remember to get a your settings to 30fps - 60 fps if you can and always set it to RGB 4:4:4 if you can if this tablet is for fine art or photography, which it should be used mainly for (and animation cels if you still do that)

The last drawing tablet I bought was the basic Wacom Intuos Small back in 2016 and I've tried other cheaper tables. The Intuos Pro feels sturdy, responsive, and includes a pen with an "eraser" side. Bluetooth functionality is convenient but it works better wired; thankfully the USB-C cord it comes with is plenty long for desktop setups and comes out at a 90° angle. The size of the tablet (Medium) is perfect for my personal setup, it is about as big as a mid-sized keyboard. I am incredibly satisfied with my purchase and if you are a professional artist who will use this everyday, you will appreciate the premium feel and quality over cheaper tablets. If you are just starting out with digital art and drawing tablets but want a quality product you can go for the basic Intuos.

Being an artist I didn't enjoy drawing on the computer but with this tablet it has allowed me to enjoy it. The Wacom Intuos Pro was easy to install and comes with multiple features to program every button to fit your style of drawing. The tablet size it perfect and doesn't require me to have to adjust my hand much. This tablet is very sensitive to the touch which was a pain at first especially drawing with the pen tool in Illustrator but you get use to it after a while. It is great for any one who is going into a computer/artistic field. I highly recommend this product. The only thing I didn't realize when I bought this is that it is not wireless and needs to be plugged in all the time. I'm sure there is an adaptor I can get but that costs extra.

Over the last 15 or so years I've tried a few tablets to get into digital art and note-taking. Most were too small or didn't have enough features/connection options etc. The medium pro tablet has been a dream to use for the most part. The software is great for PC/Mac. Once you take some time and effort to set it up and get accustomed to your mappings and pressures you won't look back. On desktop you can map the active area to one screen or 2 or a portion of a screen. I tried it with a Galaxy Tab S8+, and while it did work the app for setting up the tablet to work on a tablet only gives the option to select a portion of the active area, a third to be specific, to be mapped to the screen. This is okay for note-taking and working in multi-windows on a tablet, but is almost useless for drawing or doing anything on fullscreen. AFAIK this may not be the case with all tablets, and I had the same issue when I tried a One by Wacom tablet as well, as they use the same app to set up on a tablet. What I will say though is that I've returned, sold or given away other digital art tablets. This one is going to be in my arsenal for the foreseeable future. Can be used USB-C or BT, build quality is great, has worked with Autodesk, Krita, Tayasui etc. and can be custom configured to each. Touch works well not as good as a trackpad, but no real complaints. I would suggest applying a screen protector to protect the surface as it's hard to find the replacement surfaces for the Medium. This will also let choose the texture that you like, stock it feels like sketchbook paper. For reference I mostly use this on a 27iMac5k with a 24in 2nd monitor. When drawing I have it mapped to whatever screen I'm doing art on. Outside of not having more setup options for something like a plus or ultra sized tablets, I can't really ding this tablet with any real flaws. It has been great to use thus far, I wish this around/possible 15 years ago. Well worth the cost, but goes on sale around or under 200 at times and is a steal. Also plenty of videos showing how to set for your needs on many different applications. Personally I've been rocking this with Krita on a late 2015 iMac running off external SSD with zero issues. I would definitely recommend this.

I upgrade from the small intuos 5 to this new updated version and you can feel the difference for sure. Pretty comfortable and precise. Easy to install and works perfectly with blu tooth. The pencil is very effective and has a great feeling when you use it.

I do a lot of photo retouching and editing and find the tablet gives me the ability to do it much easier than the mouse I used up until I got the Wacom. It does take some getting used to and you do have to develop a touch to use it right but if you are doing precision drawing or retouching or have use for hand writing items to email or annotate it is great so far from my point of view.

The user can configure the side buttons to their liking. Actions such as undo, zoom in and out, or any action really. It is user friendly while still capable of professional results.

The Wacom tablet is a great alternative to using a mouse. I have not gotten good enough at it yet to say that it speeds up my photo editing workflow, but I will say that it makes photo editing less mundane. I found it to be easy to setup...just download the Wacom app, plug in the tablet and follow the directions. While my use has been pretty limited, I am giving it 5 stars because I can see the potential use of this tool. I definitely recommend this product. Note: I paid full price for the tablet, and then it went on sale during my return period. I called Best Buy and they refunded me the difference. Thank you Best Buy!

Tried to get away with a cheaper alternative but had serious problems with lag and other issues. This Wacom is like night and day and well worth the extra cost. Feel is quite smooth vs the scratchy feel of the knockoff. Also, no lag as it responds to the various inputs. Finally, it takes customizing to the next level. Like others, you can program pen and tablet buttons for shortcuts. What makes this one stand out is that it can be program specific and the buttons can reflext the keyboard shortcut for the specific program in use as the same keyboard shortcut may initiate a totally different action in different programs.

Tablet is extremely responsive to touch. Good quality and easy install. Only down side is that the pen nibs wear out very fast, and are expensive to replace.

This is my fourth Wacom and fifth digitizing tablet in my 26 years as a digital artist working in the entertainment industry using Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, Final Cut Pro and other apps. This is the device that allows an artist to translate drawing skills to the computer. Wacom makes solid, long lasting tools that are worth every penny. If you are using a computer to make art and you can draw, then give yourself a chance to be your best and go for the Wacom tablet.

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my daughter who has been taking digital art classes and she says that this is newer and better than the tablet she’s been using in class (I bought the one that looked most like the one she is used to). That the surface is not as smooth as past models so it feels more like paper and therefore is easier to draw on. She has been drawing none stop since Christmas! Set up was easy; we haven’t fully explored all the video content that is available online to probably be using the device to its fullest capabilities.

I've wanted to try an intous pro for years. I decided to save my points for one and have been using it for a a few months now. This thing is amazing, I've cut my image editing time down drastically and my edits are so much more detailed. It's amazingly sensitive and every single thing on it can be customized. It takes some getting accustomed to but I don't know how I edited without one for so long! I'm not sure if it's just my bluetooth but the wireless connection is awful, I use it wired.

Works great for the most part. Use it frequently for LightRoom. It does what it’s supposed to but everyone and then have issues with the touch function changing my brush sizes. Irritating but I guess all these tablets have that issue to some degree. The nibs do wear out easily but haven’t had to buy more as I got used to how they last and learned to take it easy on the pressure.
