This is a very good shaver with all of the "bells and whistles" of shavers costing more than twice as much. Despite its lower cost, it feels solid and has a 5-year warranty. I really like the visible LED indicators that tell you how much battery charge remains, as well as when the shaver needs to be charged and when it's fully charged. The battery must be a good one as it holds a charge for a long time. I get a shave as close as the higher priced shaver this one replaced (Series 7) with no irritation. This shaver is quieter than most. My guess is that this is due to a lower cutter speed which may explain why it takes a little longer to shave with this shaver than my previous one. But only a minute or less. I read a review which stated that the foil only lasted a few months. I've been using this shaver for a little over a month and the foil still looks brand new. It should last a year. Perhaps that reviewer pressed too hard, which caused the flexible foil to contact the cutters. I've found that a light touch with electric shavers works best so as not to press the hairs flat against the skin.

Smooth shave, charge lasts for about three shaves and it is simple to clean. I have not tried using it for a wet shave but I am satisfied with it completely. This shaver replaced my old Remington foil shaver. Best Buy is the best place to buy.

I bought this to replace an almost ten year old electric razor. So far pretty impressed, it didn't irritate my skin the first few times like my old one used to. It seems to have good battery life. Have yet to use it under and wet conditions, but so far so good.

First I saw this on Google. First things first, this product does indeed provide a tight shave which hugs the face /head very nicely. I purchased this with the intent of using it on my head every few days as to eliminate multiple razor shaves. This unit comes closest to the feel of an actual razor shave, as compared to other electric razors. However, it takes some time to get the angle/pressure correct to get as close as possible. I've only used this on my head, so I can't speak knowledably about how it will perform on other areas. Cleaning is also very easy as the unit breaks down simply, and a cleaning brush is provided. I've found performance is optimal if I stop and clean it out once or twice while using, depending on length of hair at time of use. I wouldn't suggest this for a person in the habit of letting stubble get too long between shaves, as it didn't perform well for me under said conditions.

Being cautiously optimistic I'm very impressed by this shaver. It shaves really close like a blade and better than my Braun Series 5 ever did. I had no problem chucking my old Braun in the garbage after the docking station broke down, the long term trimmer fell off, and years of buying new foil and cutters. The price is a lot less than the Braun was too. Again so far I'm very pleased with this understanding that things can be very good in the beginning and then lose their luster soon after. Right now I'd highly recommend you try this before spending the extra $ for the other brands. Here's hoping for a long term satisfaction with the Wahl.

Am very pleased with the purchase of this shaver. Great battery, shaves without getting any razor burn, am able to clean with water.

Love this razor. I'm on the road a lot during the day, and my beard grows pretty fast. I'm a five o'clock shadow kind of guy. This razor cuts clean and close, and holds a charge for quite a while. I keep it in the trunk of the car while making my rounds, so I can stay shaved while out in the public. Perfect for the task, great for traveling. Great as relief from razor burn. Recommended by my barber, the brand name is professional. I'd buy it again.

Recently I have been cutting my hair down close to bald. Was going on vaca, so I went to the barber this time around. He cut me, then shaved me bald w a Wahl Super Shaver. My head was smooth. Decided to pick up one of these devices for myself. Found this one on sale and it more than delivered. Quick, close, shave, then I used it on my face. Easy clean up, smooth feeling results. Good find.

Never been a real fan of electric shavers, but this one has changed my mind. Good quality, comfort and easy on the face. Pop up trimmer is nice.

Great shaver! Battery life is fantastic and very comfortable to use. Great value for the price. Very quiet compared to Panasonic es-la63.

So far so good. I am still getting used to it but I like it so far. Gives a nice shave. Love the fact that it is wet/dry. I have bought Wahl hair clippers in the past and have been very pleased so I thought I give these a try. Like the fact that it tells me the battery level. in stages.

Two items which could be better 1 lights which indicate charging level could be more difinitive. It is hard to tell the level of charge unless you shield it. 2 The on/off switch could be easier to operate. Razor gives a great shave and is easy to clean. I like it a lot in spite of the two item above. It would be a five otherwise.

It works great but am giving it 4 stars because the finish came off rather quickly near just below trimmer. It does seem like cheap laminated plastic was used. But as a shaver it works well enough. I mainly use it dry.

have used blades most of my life; but as i get older i wanted something that was less trouble; after reading on line ratings for shavers i decided on the Wahl really enjoy it

This shaver works like a champ!! Hubby likes the ease of use and gets a much smoother shave than his old one.

I love the Wahl Electric Shaver because it's easy to use and will give you a clean shave.

The razor works as expected. I only gave it four stars because it doesn't seem to cut through a 2 day old beard very well. If I use it everyday, it works great.
