Just compress the spring at the top and folds up to pack and carry. Edge pockets for sand eliminate need for stakes but does include them for off beach use. Held up to rather strong winds last weekend.

It’s useful when we took it camping. We put mostly our bags and towels and stuff to protect them from the sun. I don’t think it will hold up on a mildly windy day. It’s not very easy to fold up either. Overall it’s good but I wouldn’t buy it at regular price.

I would recommend a few things though. If you find a version with an extended front floor, that's a great buy. Also, be mindful on windy days to anchor it down. Otherwise it's a solid product.

I put it together just to see how easy it is to put together. No big deal simple. Took about 5 minutes to assemble because it was my first time.

I’ve use it at the beach and at the park. Easy to assemble and disassemble. I love the color and the style of this product. I definitely would recommend this and buy another one one day.
