While the movie is dark, which impacts the depth of the 3D, you can't do better than $10 for a 3D version that makes this film better than the so-so 2D version. Highly recommended.

For all you Planet of The Apes fans this movie will not disappoint you. Once again a great movie from this continuing saga. I give this movie an A+ for greatness.

This Movie is Great in 4K a lot more Detailed and Crisp than the Previous 2 and now it has Dolby Atmos Soundtrack to it so yeah it’s Good. it’s a must Own to the Trilogy if you already Own them

If you've seen the past films in this franchise you're going to enjoy how this all ends. Full of heart, I'd say this is not what you'd expect but in the best way possible. Probably my second favorite in the series next to Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

This third. and concluding, installment of the new Planet of the Apes trilogy doesn't disappoint. It picks up very close to where the second movie left off, with the military troops who were on their way now in place fighting the apes under Caesar. Woody Harrelson joins the cast as the leader of the newly arrived troops--and an avid hater of Apes and the Mankind decimating plague he blames them for bringing (even though it was actually created by humanity). There is a new threat introduced in this film and it sets up exactly how the Earth is to become truly a planet of apes and not humans. I was so hoping that the final installment wouldn't fall flat and was very pleased with the movie that they gave us. It was exciting, heart rending at times, and tied up all the loose ends nicely. I would recommend this movie without hesitation to anyone who enjoyed the first two films. The filmmakers really pulled this off.

This is the best planet of the films I’ve ever seen. I’m a huge fan of not only the planet of the apes films but I’m also a fan of the live action tv series based on the classic films. I’m a huge fan of this franchise and I really loved watching all the tv series and films in general. If your a fan of planet of the apes you should watch this movie and even better you should own it. This is the most entertaining and one of the greatest films of 2017 no doubt about it. I recommend if your a collector of the planet of the apes you need to add this to your collection.

With its allusions to Shakespeare, Joseph Conrad, the Bible, American slavery and the civil-rights movement, "War" may not be subtle but it's ultimate proof that summer sequels and blockbusters don't have to be brain-dead bottom-feeders either. Serkis has invented an entirely new medium of performance - one that pushes the series into a realm that would have blown poor George Taylor's mind even more than a half-buried Lady Liberty.

This remake trilogy started with a bang and ended with a bang. Matt Reeves takes the reins for the third and final chapter of the Apes trilogy, and in doing so, he concludes Caesar's journey in a powerful, and at times, poignant blockbuster fashion. Caesar is one of the most compelling characters to come on screen in a long time, and Andy Serkis' performance of him is simply a marvel to look at in this film.

Each film gets darker and darker! Poor Caesar just can't catch a break! After a human military group called Alpha-Omega (along with apes loyal to the late Koba) kills (most of) Caesar's family, Caesar seeks to take revenge and end the fighting between humans and apes. The Simian Flu virus has gotten worst, and humans infected have become mute and devolve. The apes are also searching for a new place ideal for apes!

For the new generation of APE movie lovers, this is a great film. MUCH DARKER then the original APE movies of the 70s. and the CGI effects are soooooo good! You will enjoy bonus material as well. I love seeing all the behind the scenes info! This is a fairly violent movie, so I don't recommend for the younger kids, maybe 6th grade and up. but for me its a great addition to the ongoing APE sagas!

Another good example of a proper way to finish a franchise. Story holds up well with the first two. Old characters story line keeps moving forward and new characters are interesting and do a good job of moving the other characters along. Audio and video are topnotch and features are informative without getting boring or to technical. Highly recommend this.

The trilogy is one of my favorites, I am a steelbook collector, this one was a must for my collection, if you like this movie or haven't watch it yet, don't think to much and buy it, it worth every penny. I purchased all three movies in the steelbook version, no 4K but still looks amazing you hardly notice the difference to be honest.

What a great conclusion to this trilogy, loved these modern Apes movies. This was a weird release though because the steelbook came out months after the initial home media release and they had already gotten me separately for the 3D and 4K releases but it was nice to have this steelbook to go along with my Rise and Dawn steelbooks

Interesting story line. Quick pace and full of action. Special effects make you feel like "apes" are real!

The fact that the movie was on sale and in Blu-Ray format influenced my purchase but I needed the last film in this trilogy so it was a no brainer to buy this copy. I really like the updated Planet Of The Apes movies. They present the story from the apes point of view and are well directed/acted.

Like Moses, Caesar must deliver his people from bondage and lead them into the promised land. The movie is ridiculously good with amazing acting, directing, production value and music. The Academy Awards should be abolished for not nominating this movie for best picture. Buy this movie!
