Easy play and fast learn and fun, Very basic game and challenge when become expert, more thinking and strategy game!!

This game is a spiritual successor to the Advance Wars Style games (turn-based, strategic placement, rpg). It is a relatively short indie game, but it is fun. I think the physical version is a bit pricey unless you're a collector or prefer physical games like myself. It is usually 50% the price or less digitally. Gotta love that Switch tax. Regardless, it is fun and I don't mind supporting indie developers. If you like the Advance Wars series or sRPGs, then I think you'll find some enjoyment with this game.

Wargroove is just like Advance Wars on the Gameboy Advance & Nintendo DS systems. Its tactical fun with awesome music and gameplay is amazing!

Wargroove is one the spiritual successors of the Nintendo "Wars" series of games that Intelligent Systems has not worked on since 2008 with Advance Wars Days of Ruin. It is mostly a Wars-type game with many unique elements borrowed from Fire Emblem, Langrisser, and other turn-based strategy games of the genre while introducing some of its own to keep it fresh such as property fortifications. In Wars, you had to have units on the property to defend it to prevent it from capture. In this game, the properties have their own defenses that the enemy has to defeat before it could be captured, which is one of the key standouts from the others. The gameplay is outstanding. The campaign allows you to play as the antagonists inside chapters for where it is applicable to the story. The characters have their own strengths and weaknesses for those who have played any "Wars" game where COs are present.

Game is fantastic!! 100/100 if you lived advance wars you will love this game even more! There really isn’t much negativity to say about such a great game such as this do your self a favor and pick it up ASAP!

Love this game, reminded me of Advance warfare from the game boy advance days. Plus it has multiplayer where you can add different scenarios so it feels like the game never ends.

For an advanced war spiritual successor, it's not bad, but was a little easy when I first played. You can easily overpower the AI if you spam low-level units to save money and then bring out the strong units to support the weak but plentiful ones. I believe they've balanced it with an update now.

This game is a refreshing addition to a typically single player experience. Get friends together! You can make your own campaigns too!

My grandson really enjoys playing this game on his Nintendo Switch. He likes the action and graphics.

Awesome game. If you love Fire emblem and Advanced Wars then you will love this game. Huge maps and long game play.

If you liked Advance Wars or Advance Wars 2 for Gameboy Advance then you'll very much enjoy Wargroove. Advance Wars, to me, is still my number 1 choice but to have a new game that fits that style of gameplay on Switch is excellent. It's also nice to see it in a fantasy / medieval era vs. A world war era.

Although it may not be as well regarded as the Advance Wars or Fire Emblem series, this is still a welcome newcomer to the genre, and it has its own unique charm to it. If you enjoy SRPG's, the Advance Wars or Fire Emblem series, definitely pick this one up.

This game reminds me of advance wars for gba. It is an awsome game and would recommend to anyone.
