It uses the Euro style paper filter, but will still brew out of the box, as it comes factory equipped with a mesh insert. I am ecstatic to have purchased this gem, as a "Deal of the day. "

The maker is very good quality and the temperature of the coffee is perfect. The only negative is no sight gauge on the outside for pouring in the water. Need a flashlight or a known quantity. I use a paper filter but it does come the metal mesh basket. Fast and hot. Nice machine.

Coffee maker makes great hot coffee and it stays hot until it shuts off (4 hours after it first brews). I bought this at a great price on one of Best Buy’s deals of the day. It comes with a gold filter so there is no need to have to buy paper filters!

I’ve been using a Keurig for the past two or three years because wife and daughter preferred the convenience. When I saw this on deal of the day I decided to go for it. Glad I did. I forgot what a good strong cup of Joe tasted like .

It's a great, durable machine. Being able to pause and enjoy your coffee, allows you to customize your and other people's coffee strength, which essentially means you can have a single cup as well without wasting coffee in a carafe. Having used other brand coffeemakers. I can firmly say that WaringPro coffeemaker is better than Mr Coffee and Cuisinart coffeemakers (depending on models, of course!) and considering price point and given features. This is my second Waring Pro item, I have and been using a Belgian double waffle maker from Waring Pro that makes amazing fluffy waffles and by no means I am a pro. On a side note, I usually use Citiz by Nespresso, 1 at home and another one at work for coffee, and occasionally, French press. But for drip coffeemaker, I found this one to be a good bargain and dependable coffeemaker.

Purchased this bad boy on Deal of the Day. Very satisfied with my purchase. One of the best coffee makers I've ever owned and I've had quite a few. Produces a great tasting and hot cup of joe! Highly recommend!

This is actually manufactured by the same company who makes the Cuisinart brand and is worth way more than I paid for it. Well worth the money and a great Coffee maker.

My only complaint is that water pools in the top and when you open it abs then close it water gets everywhere. Other than that I love it

I have had a previous coffee maker that I have used for many years. It was no longer giving me hot coffee so i gave this one a try. It works great and I get hot coffee.
