Great concept, but the light sensor is horrible!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift for his Ring security system. The camera works perfectly, as does the USB power provided by the light fixture. However, everything goes badly from here. While the LED lights are sufficiently bright, the sensor is a total FAIL. There are no adjustments to the sensor, no manual "test mode" (you have to wait till dark to test). The sensor is extremely poor & unreliable. A cat walks by and the light might come on. A 3/4 ton truck pulls into the driveway within 10 feet of the sensor and "no light". You need to jump around and wave for 5 minutes hoping it comes on. We thought we got a defective light, contacted Wasserstein, and they sent a replacement. The replacement light exhibits the same behavior. We loved the concept, we really wanted it to work, but Wasserstein must be using really cheap or defective sensors. It's a great idea, just poorly executed. Wasserstein's support is a little slow responding, but they did work with us. We eventually had to "throw in the towel" and send everything back for a refund. It was a lot of wasted effort for something with a design problem. Just read the reviews here (and on Am@zon) from other customers with similar problems.

I would pass on this one.

I had to return this because the sensor would not pick up any motion unless you are standing right under this device.

Posted .Our floodlight is equipped with light intensity and motion sensor that will only turn on in the dark when a motion is detected up to 33 feet away. It also automatically turns off after no more motion is detected to save power. Please take note of the following:
1. It will turn for some time when the switch is being switched from off to on (as a self-testing to show that the lights works)
2. After setup, the light will only be on when it is dark and senses motion. As an illustration, if you try to wave or move in front of the light during the daytime, nothing will happen since
it will only work when it is dark and it senses motion
