Item does what its intended for. Overall it works.
—> But be sure to be as close as possible to the wifi signal, as the power brick is weak and does not provide ( in my case ) enough power as the original adapter/cable combo ,,, these cameras heat up, even in standby mode, and sometimes loses connection.
Also the neck is a bit weak so when placed on low, mid wall outlets, it leans forward a bit ( more floor and less altitude video. I tied with a long wire tie to push back a bit, and works fine.

Very simple little gadget for a Dropcam/Nest indoor camera. Just pop the camera our of the original holder and plug it into this one, attach the supplied cord and plug it into a power outlet. This allows you to use the camera without having power cords running around the room. Only slight negative is that while the mount lets you swivel side to side, you aren't able to tilt up and down. Also, it's really more of a 180 degree swivel rather than 360 degrees as you're not likely to swivel the camera and point it at the wall.

Its fantastic accessory for the nest indoor cam. Its most effective if you have electrical outlet at least 4-5 feet from the ground. It can be positioned in the direction you want and saves the space and declutters all the wires and mess of have too many IOT devices !

Purchased this little gadget to put my Nest Cam somewhere it wouldn't be noticed and I've got to say the Cam went back to the store and so did this little guy but for no other reason than the cam did not work out for me. this little guy looked great and the Nest Cam fit very nicely into it. I will be purchasing again if I decide to try another Nest Cam.

Perfect for me as I did not want to put holes in my kitchen wall. Just plugged it into the outlet and it watches my backdoor entrance. Plan to purchase two more.

The angle that you get is about 180 opposed to 360 as a complete turn around will likely be the wall it’s connected/plugged into
