This is a pretty simple product, so this will be a pretty short review. Installation is simple, although you do need to figure out where to mount it so it doesn't look out of place. More on this in a minute. Once you understand where to mount it, it's a simple matter of attaching it to your wall (or wherever) and connecting two wires to the Nest. It really is easy. Build quality is solid. Once installed, it works well, keeping the Nest charged and operational without having to worry about recharging it. I live in a very sunny place and my front door faces south, so I have plenty of sunshine, so I suppose your mileage may vary. Now for the reason I gave this four instead of three stars. The Google Nest Doorbell is a simple, sleek design blends well with your entryway. In order to use a solar panel, you need to mount the panel somewhere near your door, where it sticks out, or use the long cable and have a white cable running across the front of your house. Even if you can mount it close this unit requires, of course, that it be connected with a cable. Which leaves a question. Do you really want a well-designed doorbell attached with a big, white, external umbilical cord? For me, the answer was not at my front door, but I can see other scenarios (back door, gate, etc.) where this would not be as important.

The Wasserstein - Mountable Solar Panel for Google Nest Doorbell (battery) came with all the hardware to make a quick installation. There is equipment to fasten the unit to Wood, Brick and Mortar. The unit kept the battery at 100 percent through out the day. This unit has the high quality that Wasserstein has become known for. It is sturdy and comes with enough wire to mount the unit within 11 feet of the doorbell. Placing the solar panel so it gets the most direct sun light is a plus. I would recommend this product.

This product is a great addition for anyone who has a Battery Nest Doorbell. If you purchased the wireless doorbell, the chances are high that you wanted something with little fuss. If so, this product is a wonderful thing to add to it. It is easy to install and setup and will only expand on the convenience of your doorbell. This is an easy product to recommend for anyone who has the nest battery doorbell.

Perfect for our region in eastern Utah. We have about 300 days of sun and this seems to provide very adequate power generation. The device is pretty sleek and installs easily! I would highly encourage anyone that has difficult power demands to check this product out!

So far so good. It keeps my Google Nest doorbell charged around 60% - 70% on a daily basis. Easy install as well.
