    Never use regular floss again!

I have been able to use this waterpik flosser for a few days, and then it has changed my life and view of flossing. It is very easy to use and very compact as well. Perfect for traveling or at home. My mouth has never felt cleaner! It was very easy to set up and start using. I will say your first time will be very messy if you never use a water floss device before. My mirror and poor counter were drenched my first time. But oh, was it worth it. You could also use it in the shower for a mess free experience as well. It is super easy to use. All you have to do is expand the device to allow for the water, fill it, press one button, and a way you go. It has three different tips you can use and three pressure settings you can choose from. It works very well and has great pressure that leaves you clean. I live that the charger is USB C. Only issue I have had which is minor is that it does empty quick. So you have to refill it at least at least once per session depending on pressure. But other than that it’s great! Very compact and the battery last a long time.

Hard to Figure Out at First But Cleans Well

I am obsessed with flossing. I floss after every meal and pretty much after I eat anything. I had braces growing up and the spacing between my teeth lends to getting food stuck pretty easily. I've been interested in a water flosser for a while but didn't want a huge unit taking up my side of the counter like my wife's. This one is great for saving space, but needs to be filled up every time. If you're not willing to fill up every use (it's a simple process of opening the hatch on the side) you may be better suited with a full size unit. This is also perfect fro traveling, which is really its main suggested use case. Once I filled it up the first time and selected a nozzle (there are a few different kinds and a stopper to use when traveling) I started it up and nothing came out. I had to run it without the nozzle briefly to kind of "prime the pump" and then it started working. Not sure if this is how it was supposed to work, but in any case I got it going. I was very surprised at how hard this little battery powered thing pumped out the water. I used the nozzle with the smallest, most concentrated opening and it was really pounding my gums, in a good way. I was surprised at how much debris I saw when I rinsed afterward. Since this is meant for travel use, the body collapses into the water chamber (make sure it's empty first!) to make it more compact for travel. The charging port is a standard USB-C (Love the standardized charging!) and it holds a decent charge. I would expect to be able to use it for a week-long trip without charging. But if it does need charging it's great to know I can just top it off with my phone charger. The only thing that would make this better is some kind of travel case to hold the nozzles and maybe the charging cable. I will most likely use it around the house anyway.

I can't believe how powerful this little guy is and the design is perfect. I like washing out my teeth after eating and having that available when I am away from home is great. I liked the packaging which felt efficient but professional with all the components neatly arranged in the small box that it is shipped in. The device itself is just as advertised, compact and nicely minimal design that is easy to figure out without instructions. I have had 6 to 8 different portable water flossers over the years and this one is SO much better than all the others. Until this one, none of them were very portable. They were all pretty large and bulky and took up a lot of room in my suitcase. The water resevoirs were hard to detach and difficult to clean and dry out before packing. Worse, they were designed with the on/off button exposed so they tend to turn on when they get jostled inside your suitcase. Many times I have arrived at my destination with a dead water flosser. It has also led to several instances during my travels of people pointing out that my suitcase was buzzing. It is a light, small well shaped easily packed personal hygiene tool. While I use Sonic care brushes that work well, there is always a little something left behind that only flossing can get to. Water flossing is the most productive method we have found unless you enjoy the “dessert “ found the next morning. This design solves all those problems. It is true that because the water reservoir is very small it will run out of water quickly but it is so powerful that it gets a lot done with that small amount of water. And it only takes 5 seconds to refill it again, so who cares if you have to refill it once or twice? A fair trade for having such a well-designed, compact travel flosser. The pressure is adequate for me and the food particles get washed out nicely. As long as you realize this is really a travel device or one suited for those who only need very short cleaning sessions then you won't be disappointed and I highly recommend this product.

I have a regular waterpik flosser that I’ve been using for a while and always loved it. I still do. But this is even better. I could travel with the other one but it’s size and shape made it not a priority for me to pack. This one is just amazing. It works just as good as the regular one even it’s much smaller, thinner and can fit even in my small purse that I take to work. The water flows nicely and it does remove debris well from my teeth. I feel like I get a better clean using this, even after lunch at work. The flow of warm water also feels nice on my gum. It comes with a USB cord for charging. But as with most items with USB cords these days, it doesn’t come with a wall cube. That would have made it more convenient so I could leave the cube in the bathroom near it. Other than that, it is really great. It comes with 3 different types of tips you can use. This cordless slide waterpik is as simple to use, as I would hope it to be. Even if you are new to using a water flosser it’s pretty simple and easy to set up, use and clean. This offers 3 lower pressure levels to find the one that works best at that time. One important note is that it needs to charge for 4 hours before using so plan ahead. It’s been almost a week now and the battery is still going strong. The instructions also come with a QR code which takes you to a Youtube video that shows general usage.

    Great Portable WaterPik System

Overall, I like the simplicity and portability of this waterpik system. It comes with 3 attachments(tips) and a plug for when not in use. I generally stick with the classic tip to help loosen up all the food scraps and I can aim it directly at the gum line. This system has 3 pressure settings and the water reservoir will last anywhere between 30 to 45 seconds before running out depending on which pressure setting you are on. I found that the reservoir holds enough water for me to get to all 4 quadrants of my mouth without having to refill on the same flossing session. I've also been using it for about a week twice a day and it hasn't run out of battery. It conveniently charges with USB type C and it rated for 4 hours of battery life. I like the fact that it is portable for traveling purposes. It won't take up any huge amount of space in your travel bag and collapses down to about 7 inches in height when the water reservoir is empty. Another great aspect of this system is that it's not as noisy as the larger corded systems that can wake up your spouse or kids if they are already in bed at night. It's very quiet and actually quieter in my opinion than my electric cordless toothbrush. 5/5 for clean mouth every time. It is satisfying to feel the food debris stuck in between the gums get dislodged and fall into the sink.

This review is from my week from using this water flosser. I'm sure like you, I've been told flossing with water is better. I've been hesitant over the years due pain level. My initial thoughts were that the flosser is light and easy to use. It charges relatively quickly. In the week I did use this flosser, took less than 2-3 to charge, and has left over charge by the end of the week. The directions were easy to follow on how to properly use this. I personally have sensitive gums, so when I used cold water, there was some soreness, but the actual pressure didn't cause pain. I had a better experience with lukewarm water. The flosser was able to get through to hard to reach spots around my molars. I noticed plaque that wouldn't normally loosen from normal flossing. I liked how you were able to adjust the pressure and speed of the flosser, with minimal pressure, I was able to loosen plaque pretty easily. Going forward, I am glad I made the change to water flossing. It's definitely a better way to floss and will stick with it too see long term the improvements are.

    Handy Quality Cordless Water Flosser

Waterpik waterflosser CORDLESS SLIDE. Reason for testing the Waterpik waterflosser CORDLESS SLIDE was for traveling. We use a Waterpik plug-in model at home however it is not conducive for traveling. A benefit of have both the corded and the cordless Waterpik units is the interchangeable tips. The accompanying instructions reference a Waterpik Water Flosser Models WF-16/WF-17 Series. The inside base of the main unit displays the flosser as a WF-16W/WF-16C. The unit is compact, great for traveling. Without a tip installed the unit measures approximately 5 3/4 inches in height closed and 8 3/8 inches when extended for use, 1 5/8 inches by 2 3/8 in circumference. Instructions state the unit slides to 50% of its size for easy storage however, I do not find that to be correct. No matter, the unit collapses to a good size for traveling. The Waterpik waterflosser comes with three attachments, a Classic Jet Tip, a Plaque Seeker Tip, and a Orthodontic Tip, it also includes a travel plug. I don’t believe that we would travel with the plug extended a few inches above the main unit for fear of damaging the unit. All three-cleaning tip have a purpose yet all state for General use also. We find the Classic Jet tip works best for our needs. The tips are easy to install and remove. The Waterpik also comes with a USB Cable to charge the unit via USB charging, such as a computer. You will need to supply your own 110 electrical block if you want to charge the unit via an electrical outlet. The Waterpik waterflosser CORDLESS SLIDE has three power settings. Opening the unit for use and closing the Waterpik for traveling, will allow an insignificant amount of water to get above the seal, and you will have a slight amount of moisture on the part of the unit that extends up for use. The Waterpik waterflosser does a good job of cleaning our teeth, the cordless model does not have the power of the plug-in model however we did not expect it to. This is a good cordless waterflosser and gets the job done.

The Waterpik Cordless Slide water flosser is a rechargable battery powered portable Waterpik. The unit collapses to 50% of its normal size for portability. It comes with three tips: a classic jet tip; a plaque seeker tip for use with implants, crowns bridges...; and an orthodontic tip for use with braces. All three tips are also for general use. The unit charges through the included USB A to USB C cable, a charger is not included. The box and included literature explains that water flossing is much more effective than string flossing. This water flosser is simple to use. After charging, the unit opens via telescoping to its operational size. There is a port near the base that flips open to fill the unit with water. Insert the tip you wish to use and you're ready to go. There are three pressure control settings that can be scrolled through. At first I felt like the lowest pressure setting was lacking compared to my home unit so I scrolled through the other settings. I found that the most powerful setting was a bit much for some sensitive spots. After several uses I have found that the low and medium settings are perfect for me. While I do regularly use my home Waterpik, I am not a daily user. I tend to get it out when I have something stuck between teeth or when I just want an extra thorough cleaning. I tend to refill the home unit, which holds considerably more liquid, a number of times. This portable unit holds enough water to operate about 45 seconds. I find myself using a number of refills before feeling like I have satisfactorily cleaned my teeth. Aside from the water capacity the only other slight negative is that compared to my home unit this unit is awkward to maneuver through the nooks and crannies between teeth. After a few uses the learning curve overcame the awkwardness for me. Overall I love having this compact unit that I can travel with. I have been on the road for a week, used it almost daily and have yet to have to recharge.

    The ideal travel WaterPik

This WaterPik is pretty cool little travel gadget. In particular, folks who dislike floss and obnoxious electrical cords will find it really helpful. The whole device condenses to the size of an sunglass case, is charged by USB-C (cable included), and has a few different kinds of attachments to customize your clean. There is a full-on brush head, a "semi-floss" brush-head, and a plastic nozzle, along with a cap to use when traveling. The tank is big enough to accomodate enough water that you can easy get through a full cleaning without having to fill it up again, and the battery lasts for several cleanings (at least a week so far) between charges. The power on water jet is pretty strong at the lowest setting, I never needed to turn it up, although it does go up 2 more levels of power. It was also easy to drain and store. It's a bit more bulky than a traditional WaterPik flosser (because it's an all-in-one unit vs just the sprayer handle with a separate pump), but this is an easy way to bring your WaterPik with you when you travel, or if you just have a small bathroom and need something that works without taking up a lot of space, this is the one. If you DO travel with it, you're going to wish it had a carrying pouch (it doesn't in this packaging), especially with the different nozzles, but I suspect most folks find their favorite and stick with just the one. There's no way to clip the nozzles to the device itself, either, so you're out of luck from that front. All in all, though, I was really pleased with the weight, size, and portability of this particular WaterPik.

I have wanted one of these for a while, and I am SO glad I finally got one. I really did not think it would work better than traditional flossing, but I am absolutely impressed. My teeth felt way cleaner after just one use. This cordless Waterpik flosser has tons of features, including three pressure settings, a charging stand/cord, three interchangeable tips, and it is water resistant. As long as the charging port is covered with the connected silicone cover, it can be easily used in the shower, which is what I do. I also like using it in the shower because I fill it up with warm water instead of cold; the cold water makes my teeth hurt since they are pretty sensitive, but I have no issues when I use warm water. The three different included tips are a general cleaner, a plaque cleaner (it has bristles on the end to help scour), and a tip that makes it easy to use for those who wear braces or retainers. Depending on the pressure used, the cordless model goes for about 30-45 seconds before the reservoir runs out, but it is super easy to refill and go again if necessary. Its compact size makes it great to use when traveling, especially because the unit itself collapses into the water reservoir. The drain at the bottom of the reservoir and on the top edges of the unit keep it so water leaves the unit/dries instead of standing and creating a possible mold problem. All in all, I love having one of these and have been told by my dentist that it can help prevent cavities between the teeth, which I struggle with. I would definitely recommend it!

The Waterpik Cordless Slide Water Flosser, brings everything you enjoy about water flossers, but in a much more travel friendly build. Pros: Charges via USB-C meaning it's one less charging cable needing to be packed or found. The performance is excellent, with multiple power settings to really get in there and cleaning your teeth and gums. Multiple tips to provide the specific clean you want. The water feed tube get to the very bottom to ensure all the water is used. Obviously the size of the device is the biggest selling point of this thing and it does make it so much easier to pack in a dopp kit and bring it where needed. Cons: Event though the main draw is its ability to shrink in size for portability, it does hinder the overall capacity to hold water. I'm able to do one row of teeth (front and behind) before I need to refill and continue. Additionally, the fill port is a little small, so filling/refilling can be a little difficult. Overall, the Waterpik Cordless Slide Water Flosser is a great device and will definitely be a mainstay in my oral care routine. The main con is so minuscule that is actually doesn't detract from my enjoyment of using the device.

    Good addition to oral hygiene

This is my first experience with a "water flosser" so I figured Waterpik brand was a good choice since they seemingly created the device and are the most well known. I don't know about most people but I hate having food stuck between my teeth after eating. I almost always use a toothpick after meals to get rid of the food stuck there and usually floss with a string type floss at some point before brushing. I had often thought about trying a waterpik but never did mainly because they seemed so bulky and a bit of a hassle. Now that they have cordless ones the bulk and hassle has been greatly reduced so I figured it was time to give it a try. Also with age you begin to appreciate your teeth a bit more and want to preserve them to enjoy eating the foods you love. This one is a good choice if you want a convenient way to floss with a small size and a minimum of headaches. It may not replace my toothpicks for immediate relief after a meal but it makes a good addition to my routine and will likely reduce my need for string flossing. I like to use it with mouthwash which waterpik says is ok if you mix with water in a 1:1 ratio. It helps clean and gives you fresh breath just rinse it out with water afterwards. If you already use mouthwash this makes it work even better with minimal added hassle. Good pressure even on battery power it's rechargeable with included accessories. Small in size and great for travel. I wish they included a carrying case but no you have to provide that at least for now. I would probably give it 5 stars if it came with a case or bag. It may not replace some of your current oral hygiene methods (but it might) though it will certainly enhance and improve them at a reasonable price.

    Portable Flossing Power!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Bottom Line: the Waterpik Cordless Slide Water Flosser offers full-size cleaning in a very compact size, but the small reservoir may require multiple refills for those who like to take their time. Pros: powerful; USB rechargeable; small size. Cons: small reservoir; no pause button. Review: If you’re looking for a space saving or travel water pick, this is a near perfect option. The unit is small, and the water tank is designed to fit around the machine when not in use, which creates a small footprint for storage or travel. The unit charges by USB too, which means you don’t need to worry about a proprietary charger. The flosser offers three pressure settings, and the power is on par with the cleaning you’d get from full-size plug-in units. There are two important compromises to consider, however, for its small size. First, the water tank is fairly small, delivering about 45 seconds of use before needing to be refilled. Second, there’s no pause button. The power button is used to turn the unit on, select the pressure setting, and turn the unit off (either by long press or four short presses). Pausing, as a result, can lead to a lot of fiddling (and likely some unintended pressure changes), and, when coupled with the small reservoir, makes it feel like you’re racing the clock to get the job done before you run out of water.

Great for travel, tank design could be better

The build quality of this waterpik unit is great. Feels very premium. It is LiON battery operated - charged by USB-C (short 3 ft cable is included). Unfortunately there is no battery indicator, just a light to indicate it is charging. The battery seems to lasts long. It would be nice if they could improve the next version design to include this. The best part of this unit is its size, the "slide" part of the product name. The pump slides into the tank making this very portable, especially for travel. The only problem with this design is that it is extremely hard to separate the pump from the tank (which you will need to do if you want to clean). It takes far too much effort to separate. I get the design to make it water tight, however the main reason it is like this is because the fill hole is at the BOTTOM of the unit so you have to essentially have it upside-down to fill it. Staying on the tank, the unit burns through the water very quick. This is a product of a small water tank and a strong pump. I have to refill it once per cleaning. What's worse is the hose. It is a bit too short, it should be made longer so it sits entirely on the floor of the tank - its short to its not all flat and because you hold the unit on an angle in your mouth you constantly have to be aware how the water is leaning in the unit so the hose is submerged. Quite annoying (this is the benefit of having a big standalone tank unit! Keep that in mind when shopping for a water flossing device). The unit has three power modes, all of which are very powerful. If you need a full blown unit that you will keep in your house at all times, I don't recommend this product. Get a large unit with a huge separate tank that will last a long time. If you are looking for a travel buddy, though, this is a formidable unit that I'd recommend.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
