Hello JenniferU - We're glad you are enjoying the Ultra model. Our products are designed for use in the bathroom and to have sound levels appropriate for the space. Specifically, we design our products to have a sound level less than 70 dBA, where less than 70 dBA is defined as ‘conversation level’. Beyond 70 dBA we hear a toilet flush and at approaching 90 dBA we are in the range of most hair dryers.
