Its been a year now, and I love having this installed in my car. The only noticed that when it senses the bump that is when it starts recording, so it very rare this device catches anyone in the act.

After more than two weeks of trying fervently to get all systems to work we returned the camera very frustrated. There is no customer support number to call. You’re relying on engineers in a different time zone to respond to emails or messages you leave on the site. We paid more than $400 for the camera and wasted two weeks of our time trying to get help to no avail.

I thought spending a bundle would get me a great system...not! Best Buy installers were great but the darn thing will only transmit on its own WiFi, so, when you turn it on you can not use other WiFi systems. Also works well when ignition is on but very flaky while still powered to battery but ignition is off....not worth the money!

For the cost of the camera, it should connect via Bluetooth each time a phone, that has the connected app, is near. Instead you have to go to your Wi-Fi settings and manually connect to the camera. Also, for the cost of the 4G plan, it should not cost you to clear alerts. The camera only records events. It does not record continuously. You can set it to record all motion (when parked only) but unless your phone is connected directly to the camera via Wi-Fi, it will charge you for it. This is a problem because you only get 1GB per month. So basically using the motion option would only work if you only parked in a garage, alone. So by not setting it to motion, if someone keys your car, or slashes a convertible top, you would not have evidence, unless there was also a bump also. An annoying thing is that every time you get in the car, it alerts as a bump which needs to be cleared, most likely against the 1GB, since connecting to the camera directly is a hassle. I am hoping Waylens reads this and makes changes to the existing/already purchased cameras/plans. Otherwise, there are gaps for bad actors to get away with damaging our vehicles, even after spending a large amount of money to mitigate or have evidence of such.

I've had nothing but a positive experience with my Secure360 4G. I bought via the original Indiegogo campaign so I've been using it since it first became available. I bought it as a security camera first and foremost and it has proved to be everything I hoped it would be. I park in an open lot at work which happens to be situated next to a convenience store, and in the past I've worried about the loitering that goes on near my new Alfa. Now I'm notified if anyone touches or even approaches my car. I also love the peace of mind that comes with being able to check in on it when parked at the airport, etc. Installation seems pretty simple if you are a do-it-yourselfer, but I opted to have it installed by a local shop for about $50. Early on I had a couple of occasions where I needed to contact support and each time they were super responsive (replies within an hour or two) and helpful. They even sent me a new mount gratis because I wasn't happy with the placement by the shop. I also love the frequency with which they are updating the software with improvements and new features.

I wanted a 360 cam for my truck and decided to give this one a shot when I saw it on Kickstarter. IMO, this is a version 1 product and as with all version 1 products, there will be bugs to work out. If you can be patient, provide the company feedback on your experience, and wait for the firmware updates to roll out, then you'll find this camera a very good product. I had Best Buy install this cam and they did a great job! There were times I had to adjust sensitivity settings to low as it would record speed bumps as an impact. Also, night vision could use improvement where the camera detects people while the vehicle is parked. I had an incident Dec 2018 where the cam failed to detect someone slashing my tires in low light conditions. I'd give this cam 5 stars if it wasn't for that but again... version 1 product and this company does care about customer satisfaction and product improvement. I look forward to version 2 of this cam.
