My 6 year old loves gaming and has loved Legos! This has combined his two favs into one and is a win-win as it is two toys in one! This game pack combines one his favorite movies into the fold as well... It was No. 1 on the Christmas list!

My wife and I have purchased several packs for the Lego: Dimensions game. Normally, we research what each pack does/unlocks in the game, but we bought the Jurrassic World pack on impulse. We have been pleasantly surprised at how helpful and fun it has already been. It adds the abilities: Cut, Dig, Electricity, Gyroshere, and Track, among others. Tons of fun, very glad we made this purchase!

We actually picked up Lego Dimensions right after beating (100% completion) Lego Jurassic World, so we were well versed with the Lego version of Jurassic Worlds characters. For those of you who did as we did, this kit did a fair transition for Owen Grady and his ACU Trooper friend. Owen can cut vines (like in LJW) but also shoot out Target Switches (the little control switches that always state that requires Legolas from Lord of the Rings). The Raptor (designed to look like Blue from the film) is a great designed little figure and can also cut vines and is fun just to ride around on for the entertaining comments different characters will say. The Gyrosphere is a must have though as it necessary for specific puzzles and switches throughout the levels/worlds. My favorite aspect though is Chris Pratt's voice over work; especially when you bring in-game another Chris Pratt character, like Emmett from The Lego Movie. Among the many characters we own, Chris Pratt's charismatic wit is found in all the voice-over sayings and you can almost hear him having fun with his lines. The Jurassic World dimension is large but nowhere near as it's LJW counterpart. It gives you access to the main strip of the JW park and to jump into the lake/water feature seen in the film.

This was a fun build w/ my kids. They really enjoyed building the velociraptor and the gyrosphere. Owen is a great character to use in the game with his unique abilities and this is the only set that will open the Jurassic World adventure world part of Lego Dimensions.

This is an awesome Lego Dimensions pack. The raptor has many abilities that are useful. The gyrosphere is the only way to activate the sphere places and both Owen and the ACU trooper have abilities that are needed to solve some of the puzzles. This is a pack you don't want to miss getting.

Of course right now this is the only option to access the Jurassic World so that makes this Team Pack necessary for me. You get several needed abilities such as electricity, tracking, vine growth and the gyro-sphere. The only thing i was disappointed with was the raptor. It's super awkward to use as a vehicle. Feel like you are glowing slower then necessary and a bit of a wonky stride.

The Jurassic World Team Pack is a must have for your Lego Dimensions collection as it is the only way to unlock the Jurassic World Adventure World, which contains several of the Gold Bricks you would need to collect in order to earn 100% completion. In addition to the exclusive access to the Adventure World, ACU Trooper's Vehicle, Gyrosphere, was the only way to use the Gyrosphere Switch ability upon its launch in September of 2015. The ability can now be accessed through The Adventure Time Team Pack and the Powerpuff Girls Buttercup Fun Pack. Owen's Vine Cut ability was also exclusive to this pack on its release and is still a very limited ability after the final release.

As any Lego Dimensions fan knows by now, some of the fun/team packs are of no real use (hello there, Lego Movie Cop) as their skills are redundant and/or don't unlock any new areas to explore. Jurassic World may be a lousy movie but it's an essential addon for the game if you plan to collect everything - the 2 characters, dinosaur, and vehicle will add an impressive number of skills at this early stage. Plus it's the only way to unlock the JW adventure world since there are no other characters available or even on deck for release. And it's funny to have Owen and Emmet both running around together with the same voice.

Excellent game. This pack is needed as you need the gyrosohere to accomplish certain areas in the game. Also both characters have abilities that few other characters have.

This is another level for the Lego Dimensions game. You need "Owen" to cut leaves. The raptor is fast once you upgrade him and digs also. The gyro ball is fun, but slow moving. The guy with the staff is neat he has an electric staff. If you like Legos and Jurassic World then you will like this addition. They have comentery between each other about 3 pharses.

Most reviews I read had complaints about having to assemble the pieces while playing the game. It makes it easier to see the instructions up on the big screen rather than the little book and it is fun to unlock new characters and explore their abilities.

These add-on Team Packs for the new LEGO Dimensions game are a little pricey (better value than the Level Packs if you're only interested in the LEGO parts) but if you have a Gamers Club membership it helps out a lot. The mini builds are fun (great mini dinosaur!) and the Owen & ACU Guard minifigures are great additions. Great way to add gameplay plus get LEGO at the same time!

Jurassic park when I was a kid, jurassic world to my kids now! I thought the would die when jurassic world lego game went missing, but they love this just as much if not more than that game!! Praise jesus!! Kids loved it!!

Kids loved the Jurassic World level...lots of fun to play. The raptor is not that useful, but was still fun to use.

Lego Dimensions is a great game. Any of these special game packs just adds to the experience. It gives people a chance to experience certain brands and characters they normally would not know about.

After getting this set for Lego Dimensions, I never have been more prouder when using it. I would recommend this product to anyone who plays Lego Dimensions.

My husband is enjoying this game. He said it is even better than the other Lego games that we have purchased in the past. He can't wait to buy more pieces.

Owen and ACU trooper adds hours of game play to the Jurassic World free play. The two also give the levels abilities to progress in earning minikits.

My nephew and I are in love with the Lego Dimensions game and toys. This one came with two minifigs, the raptor (which you can use as a vehicle) and the sphere vehicle. So worth it, we had tons of fun playing the jurassic park level!

I'm going to start each Lego Dimensions related review the same way. There is a rather large price barrier involved with Lego Dimensions. If you want to see and do everything the game has to offer, you will be spending far more than the starter kit price. Because of this, you either have to resign yourself to spending an arm and a leg (and possibly a kidney) to buy everything there is, or you have to pick and choose the packs that most appeal to you . Preferably when they're on sale (like I did.) I bought this pack when it was on sale, and it was for the abilities its characters offered. this was essentially a "utility" purchase. Owen has a tracking ability, while the raptor has a digging ability and can break thru certain stone floors after an upgrade. My other options for these abilities were to buy the Scooby Doo pack for tracking and digging, and then buying Wonder Woman (or similarly powered figure) for the ground breaking. In essence, it was the cheaper route. Team Packs are a bit light on features when compared to the level packs like Ghostbusters, Doctor Who, etc. While this does give you access to the free roam Jurassic Park themed adventure level in the game, there is no story level packed in. At regular price, it's only $5 cheaper than a story level pack, so the money you're spending is mainly for the characters and the abilities they bring to the table. A collector or completionist is going to have to buy the Scooby Doo pack either way. But for someone that just wants to be able to dig or track without using the in game "hire a hero," this is a good alternative.
