Great ssd fast, reliable, a lot of storage. Great for gaming saving fotos videos

I purchased the drive to see how well an SSD drive would work in my computer system. The SA510 drive works just like any hard drive with the exception being an all memory chip based drive (no platters or motor). I am going to try it in a USB SATA enclosure and use it as a fast portable drive. Western Digital makes good drives.

Perfect upgrade for an ancient console (PS4 classic). Huge space and modest performance boost. SATA hasn’t aged well, but I’m confident this drive will last much longer than I need!

I always feel if you give something 5 stars people think you are being paid for the review. So I give it 4 stars for that reason. This hard drive works. I use it to store my files as well as record videos on my ninja monitor recorder. Works exactly like it’s supposed to and it mounts to my computer like it’s an internal drive. I edit my videos directly on it. I will continue purchasing this product.

These are fast and reasonably priced. But what sets them apart from other SSD Sata drives is that you can download the full version of Acronis from the WD website to migrate your old drive and resize the partitions. As long as the software finds a WD drive, it will work fine with all features enabled.

This SSD brought new life to my old laptop. Now it is a great tool for my son as he does homework and other tasks to enrich his education.

I bought this as a replacement for the internal hard drive in my Xbox One X. For some reason the original Seagate HDD decided it was done so I made the choice to upgrade my hard drive to a solid state. Was pretty simple and easy and had no issues whatsoever. Makes my console and games run faster. 10/10,

Good solid drive. I use them for replacements when I troubleshoot or upgrade laptops for customers.

Efficient SSD. Each time I get these for an upgrade, they work just fine on a Mac. So far so good. Reliable and dependable. As expected much faster than HDD. For iMac upgrade, I highly recommend to have a OWC in-line digital thermal otherwise might face full-blown fan issue. For MacBook Pros, just the drive alone is suffice.

Great drive!! I have several of these installed on my HP computers and they work very well. They are much faster than the traditional disk drives and love not hearing the platters spin. This one replaced a failing disk drive on an old HP windows 7 machine. I was able to clone the old disk to this one and now works perfectly.

This review is just one step above reviewing a drink coaster. The only difference is this thing plugs into a motherboard, a NAS, or an external drive caddy, then stores data, while a drink coaster is what you have left if this device bricks. Thankfully, two years later and I still have a hard drive. The price was right, and it still works. So great. 9/10 would buy again if a drive other than this one fails.

1tb hdd on dell 3481 began to fail after 6 years and an August 2025 win10 corrupt update. Installed the WD 1tb SSD, and loaded an alternative OS to the computer. SDD is definitely faster, and seems to be just right for my end user app use.

This hard drive is very efficient…it has plenty of storage. It’s very fast booting. All around very good!!!

I bought this just to run an operating system and have a little bit of local storage on a small pc project of mine. It was been flawless since install and runs cool.
