Adds so much space! I have a 2013 imac that is still very functional, but was running out of space. It took a little googling to find out how to reformat the WD drive for ExFat, but it wasn't hard. It's fairly quiet too. I've never had issues with WD drive failure, so knock on wood!

Tremendous storage capacity , you can not buy a 10TB hard drive for what one of these costs. Got mine on sale so I bought 2 for less then what one NAS WD red would cost. which these are the same drives. now they are in my server , it will take a long time to fill those up (LOL)

As many others have done, I purchased these to go into my NAS. My 4 Bay NAS had 4 x 3TBs previously so I'm anticipating a huge storage jump from 8 TB usable space to 27 TB usable space. I have been taking it slow, installing one drive at a time to let the NAS initialize the drive and repair the degraded volume. This obviously takes longer, but keeps my data intact. Shucking them is pretty straightforward. There are many different videos out there that work great. Inside mine, I found White Label drives that are equivalent to the WD Reds. As for the 3TB drives these drives replaced, I will probably install them into these shells for basic external drives. The 32 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is a nice bonus. They may go to my kids as stocking stuffers.

I got this originally as extra storage as my NAS was getting full. Now that I've upgraded my NAS, this is used to store backup of my laptop and PC plus any documents that I want to keep secure. The thumb drive is a nice added bonus.

I just picked this up. It is fast and quiet with tons of storage. The additional 32gig flash drive is a great bonus.

I feel it does exactly what I needed it to do. I went in to buy something in the 4 TB range, but couldn't walk away from this deal. I now backup everything daily to a physical disc without manual intervention..as a duplicate to what I do in the cloud. Great product!

It's hard to review an external backup hard drive. Especially as I have only had it about one month. It works quite well and is relatively fast, being USB 3 connected. I have finished backing up all my data and I still have 84% to go! Big thumbs up on 10 TB of storage!

Very easy to use product. The included software makes backing up very easy. Incredible amount of space. The included USB drive is a nice bonus. My WD products in the past have lasted for many years without failing, so I will be expecting the same of this.

Easy to install and get it connected to my computer. I bought this to provide a month worth of backup of my main computer's contents. It has more than enough capacity and I will probably be able to use a to restructure some of my previous cd-based backups.

I had a 4tb external hard drive that I almost filled up with Xbox Game Pass games, and that I got a couple years ago for about the same price as this 10tb! I love having all the extra storage and also the piece of mind that goes with it! Great Value.

I originally purchased one of these devices to store archived videos and photos from my production company. I had such a great experience with their speed, that I went back and purchased two more. At under $200 I highly recommend these drives.

I do a lot of high-definition videography and drone cinematography, so space fills up quite fast in my household. This drive is the best deal I have ever found and the device works great, even for storing 4K and streaming over my home network.

Have purchased a dozen of these and every one was a white label drive that was shucked and placed in 2 different R710 servers. They are fast, and have no issues with 3.3v pin for my usage case. Highly recommend these if you're a data hoarder.

Needed to backup a couple computers and the price on this was a no-brainer. Not only did I get the drive, but also a usb flash drive. When hooked up to the new Mac Mini, the copy was much faster than previous copies on an older external drive.

Hooked this up to a Netgear Nighthawk router and set ready share up quickly. Transfer speeds over the network are solid and I'm overall happy with the insane amount of storage my network now has. Great to throw all large media files on!

We all know we should back up data and photos often, and this unit has the capacity to do just that. Pick a weekday night and last thing you do - copy all data to this monster drive and sleep better. Easy to use, plenty of storage. Simple

It’s a WD White drive inside and it works great. I put two in a NAS running RAID 1. It’s nice to have so much space in only two drives. A 32GB thumb drive is always nice to have.

I bought 1X of these a few months back. Loved it so much I bought another later that day. Loved that one so much - I bought a 3rd about a month later. These are the equivalent to the WD Red Drives which retail for $300++. Approximately 2X years ago, I was 75% Seagate, 25% WD. After experiencing ~30% of my Seagates defecting on me & to-date (20+ years of service), NONE of my WD’s have broken down, I’ve decided to transition exclusively over to WD. They cost a little bit more but it’s worth the premium for the added peace of mind. The best part is, unlike many other things in life, Best Buy somehow manages to offer products like this at prices that are competitive even to places like eBay. Except, unlike on eBay, if something does go awry with my WD’s, I can rely on the manufacturers warranty!

The WD Easy store drive comes in 8 tb 10 tb and now 12 tb versions. Just need to plug in the power pack and the usb3 cable to your pc and you have terabytes of file storage for a reasonable price.

I have purchased various WD external hard drives over the years. Never have had any problem with any of them. Simple to use. Great amount of storage at a reasonable price. Also, the transfer speed is outstanding. Highly recommend.
