Needed thumbdrive

I like how the drive retracts into the case for a little extra protection in the computer bag.

GREAT LITTLE FLASHDRIVE

Once you plug it in, it immediately works and you are able to put your files on it. The only thing that I didn’t like was that it is advertised as a 128GB flash drive, but when I plugged it into my computer it said it only had 114GB on it (and I made sure no files were on it already). Other than that I recommend!

Good, but not as good as Sandisk Ultra

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tested one of the 64G drives against a Sandisk, and found it somewhat slower (about 15%) on writing big files. Looks to me like WD is taking chips that aren't fast enough for the Sandisk label, and selling them as Easystore at a lower price. They're still a lot faster than the Cruzer drives, though, so it's a good trade-off of speed for price. The plastic feels less sturdy that the Sandisk, so it might not stand up as well to rough handling.
