Light weight and it's very fast. Best portable hard drive at great price. Size is also very compact. I hooked up with my Chromecast with Google TV.

I've owned WD products for years. Customer Service is excellent though you may never have a need to call them. Their products work great and last for a huge amuount of years. I have an external harddrive that has lasted over 10 years and still working like new. Bought this one because it can fit into my pocket so I can take pictures from my phone and transfer them to this harddrive, for example. It also made transfering files from my old computer to my new one very easy.

Its 3.0 USB port makes it really fast to transfer information. The HDD design makes it easy for transportation. Western Digital is a great brand, 1 Terabyte is a really good deal for this price.

Works like it should. Plug n play simple enough. Great having an extra TB of storage for only $45! Great buy. Runs pretty fast too.

Highly recommended I can hold all of my files on here as a digital designer this is very important so I am totally grateful and it was not overly expensive and this economy every dollar counts!! Lol

I purchased this 2T WD External Hard Drive as a backup to many years of digital photos stored separate from my iMac. With some fairly simple formatting it has performed as I imagined! I have saved over 25,000 photos and 1500 videos on this external hard drive and store it separate from my iMac in case of a catastrophic failure of my Mac. It is comforting to know I have a second backup to my Time Machine WD Passport backup. These photos cannot be replaced and for a very cost effective price they can be preserved for years to come.

The WD - Easystore 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive has been an excellent backup hard drive and was purchased at a very reasonable price. It has worked flawlessly so far. This is the third one I have purchased and all 3 have worked with no problems. I would definitely recommend it.
