External hard drive was purchased to copy data from damaged(?) hard drive on another computer, as well as providing for future storage. Geek Squad service people successfully completed first task and I look forward to doing the second personally. Having a portable HD with greater capacity than a thumb drive is more useful for photos and larger files. I feel that it is a good investment in a quality product.

This portable hard drive works great for what i need it for and at a very good price. Easy to set up and stsrt using. Sales people were also very helpful.

Two of our old drives were reduced to secure files on this small hard drive by a simple transfers. They files are easy to assess on my computer with a simple connector. I really like that it is small and compact.

Great backup, easily imported/downloaded/uploaded and stored photos and files during transition from an older out of date laptop (apple) to a new laptop (apple). Easy upload from the storage to new laptop. Eased my mind that I wouldn't loose all my photos during the transition. Haven't used it since, but it will continue to backup if plugged in.

I had bought this for my son on sale because his PS4 had ran low on space. It required USB 3.0 or better and I forget how many GB for external storage. I didn't want to tie up my USB flash drives so I bought this. It is easily able to be transported. No issues in setting it up or lag in game play. Great buy for the price and very versatile!

Thankfully I was able to get service after my old laptop got damaged. Geek Squad annual membership REALLY HELPED in getting my new laptop set up with my old files and recommended this storage. I needed it in order to keep all my files!

Good brand, excellent price at BB. Using for rotating backups - wanted so would have multiple backups for my HP laptop (yes, also purchased at BB). While one large drive could contain many backup images, ALL PCs and related equipment eventually dies, so have to be prepared for the eventuality. (I'm plenty old enough to have a collection of PCs that either need repair, or just junking.)

It is so easy to use. I needed to have another hard Drive to save information that was on my computer. This information was easy 2 transfer over to my external hard drive it freed up a lot of extra space on my computer. I would recommend this external drive to any of my friends. I am now using it on my cell phone to free up space for me to be able to put more pictures on my cell phone.
