Solid. Quiet. Fast. What more do you need? Larger drives are available. However this is the largest size I would want to transport. Ease of use, simple plug and play.

Very compatible and and a lot of space easy to use and great looking

This WD (Western Digital) external hard drive (I bought the 1GB version) is USB 3.0 and speedy and so self-conscious of footprint space that you will barely even notice that it is lying on your desk, right next to your laptop (as I have used it). While I have no real use for the accompanying WD software that is included, I nevertheless did not delete it from the external hard drive. Great "hardware device" which you can almost drop right into your shirt pocket -- or at least drop right into your backpack!

This 1TB hard drive offers great value for a great price. It is very small, which makes it very portable! Definitely recommend!

Easy to use, good speed, fully compatible with data and software

I love these external hard drives, they are so easy to load files onto.

Wife does photography and we needed to get her something to store all her pictures. For the price point, size, and speed of this drive its a winner. I have WD and a few others but they are nowhere near as compact as this one. She brings it with us to Death Valley and Mammoth to safely store her pictures. May be getting a couple more.

Looks and works great. I recentlh switched harddrives for my xbox one x. Works great, the other was a turtle beach and broke only after 3 years. This one runs great. Great price when its on sale. Very nice design, it does not stand out and very simple look. The install process was simple and everything went smoothly. Would recommend upgrading to a 2 tb if you have a newer gen console.

My old computer went to computer Heaven, and I was worried about not being able to transfer my old folders. I was told about this hard drive, and it did what it was supposed to do. I was told I may not get every folder back, but to God be the glory, they were all transferred.

I got this for my friend since I have one myself and it has worked well for me for years. My friend needed extra storage for games. They weren't sure it would work well, but it was as easy plugging it in and installing their games on it! Now they can play games without having to worry about space!

Was easy to set up and copy files to. More than enough storage for a good price!
