Good price, good performance and I would buy again

My work computer was replaced, and the new one has an SSD drive that was much smaller than my previous hard drive. I had to add external storage or lose the ability to retain some much needed data locally. This drive is perfect, as it is USB powered (so no additional power connection), very small and light-weight.

This thing is really small and light. Very easy to carry inside y our computer bag. I had no issues using it from the start.

I needed something with substantial storage for all of the pictures that my wife takes and her laptop was getting full. Have owned WD drives in the past and actually still have a couple for miscellaneous storage. Great price for 1TB. I'm just hoping that it lasts for a little while before needing to get more.

This is a great portable HDD. Very fast and responsive. The capacity is great. Excellent additional hardware for my laptop. Seamless compatibility with Windows 7 & 10. Get one or two. They're great.

This external hard drive is as simple as it gets. No set up, just plug and play. Plenty of room for most everthing. Good product at a great price.

This external hard drive came with 937 gb of storage space but other than that, it's a great product! It let you store anything you like and it's easy to gain access once you connect it to your laptop. This external hard drive is great for when you need that extra space if you run out on your laptop.

This a good amount of space for the price. There are definitely better option but at this price point it can't be beat.

I bought this to expand the storage on my Xbox one X and it works just as I would expect. Once you set it up the first time you are good to go. You can even unplug it without having to set it up again. Load times are hard to distinguish a difference between this product and the xbox’s Hard drive. 5/5

Performed as advertised. Easy to set up, back up was quick. Lightweight, portable back up hard drive. I have only used for a few weeks now, but performs as advertised. Lots of storage capacity.

We purchased two of these WD - Easystore 1TB USB portable hard drives for our business and home computers. They are easy to use and a valuable tool for backing up our business (and personal) files. I learned that just because your files are stored on a cloud file system, it doesn't mean that that is necessarily a reliable backup. It is important to have portable backup drive separate from the PC in case your hard-drive crashes, or the data files are corrupted or damaged on any cloud file system.

I needed a backup drive ASAP so I ran to Best Buy and picked this off the shelf. I had to back up my Dad's Windows 10 machine, including creating a system image. It connected and performed quickly and beautifully. Then I plugged in into my Mac Book Pro to check my files and it read everything seamlessly. When my Dad's Laptop came back from repair, I was able to restore the machine using the system image on this drive.

Who doesn’t need storage? This is great for storing files and photos quickly and it’s compatible with Apple devices. Small enough to carry or conveniently store away safely.

I have had an old WD HDD since 2007. It used USB 2.0. The WB easyStore is smaller than back then and uses USB 3.0. It downloads files faster for backup from your PC or Mac.

Just like the description, this device is what I hoped for in a portable storage device, it is modern and stylish offering ample storage at a very reasonable price, works perfectly!

If you want something small and reliable that holds a lot of data, this is it. You can stuff it in your pocket. Beats keeping your data in the cloud or on your hard drive.

These WD Passport and Easystore USB drives are excellent storage devices for backups, media storage or just taking your entire file base with you where ever. Totally USB powered, no clunky power bricks and instantly usable on any NTFS platform. And the sale price from Best Buy was excellent.
