Plenty of storage for an excellent price. I wish i had bought one sooner.

I bought this as a file backup drive for several of my laptops (it's part of a Raspberry Pi file server). The performance is fast, especially important since I'm transferring lots of data (many small files but LOTS of them!). Met all expectations. The sale price for 1T of storage was also very attractive.

This portable HDD has really impressed me. At this price point it was a no brainer as it is super simple to use and 1tb is more than enough storage for most people. The software it comes with is nice and helps with security and organization but is also not necessary for proper use. Setup was very straightforward.

Small and compact. A great price point. Used for a gaming console, so the small size easily "hides". Plug and play. Simple.

It's great item to storage all your work and information with a good capacity. My laptop have a problem and i need to fix it, and i transfer all what o have to this Portable Hard Drive.

Easy to use. I didn't install the software included because I don't want it as a back-up. Maybe in the future I will. For now, I needed to send my laptop in for repair and wanted to pull files off so they can't snoop. I plugged it in, opened the folder and was able to just drag and drop my files into it. No issues and the speed of transfer was better than I thought.

Purchased this external drive for backup purposes. I got it on sale -- great price for a really fast, large portable drive.

The drive works great. Easy to hook up and use. Lots of space for data backups.

My daughter needed to send her laptop in for repair. She was advised to back up her data before sending the laptop. Decided on the WD Easystore 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive. It was inexpensive and highly rated. We unboxed it, connected to the laptop and we were back up the hard drive before we knew it. Worked great! I recommend this drive as an inexpensive way to backup lots of data.

Perfect for computer cleanup. I moved all of my files from one computer to this drive so we could reformat it. The computer read and ran this drive without any issues. I may not move some of my files back, but keep them portable. This is sturdy and will fit in my laptop bag easily. Price was reasonable on sale as a bundle with another product. Thanks for the suggestion Best Buy!

Wow, this external hard drive has so much storage it saved everything I had plus a lot more room.

I was weary when I first purchased this, but I've used it and I continue to save a lot of material photos music and documents. It's silent and uploads fast. My old hard disk had so many moving parts it made noise when operating and also for a small two or three inch drop when setting down by accident caused problems. With this I have no problems it's built tuff and works great.

Good price. Easy to use right out of the box. Has a lot of storage space.

I am a huge fan of these little external HDs. They are small, yet offer plenty of storage space, easy to use and easy to travel with. This is my 5th, one now, using them for different categories, - - one for music, one for pics, one for back-up, one for general purposes, etc. I have had absolutely no problem with them.

For the money, this hard drive is excellent!! Also, the people at Best Buy are good at what they do. They know the product, and explain on how to work with it. I'm a happy Best Buy consumer!! The hard drive works great, small, compact, and does exactly what I want it to do. The price was great, also.
