Purchased this item for my mom to save the pictures on her iPhone. Was happy that saving her pictures went really quick. I do have an older WD external hard drive and it usually takes awhile for me to save pictures from my iPhone. This one is way faster and has more memory.

Item arrived quickly. Compact, looks good, & works well out of the box. I didn't have to install any additional software to get it to work and start transferring files. Just plug and backup. Going through my USB 3.0 port, I seem to be getting pretty good transfer speeds.

Totally love this portable HD! Loved it so much we bought one for my husband's laptop too! I have an older version of this model on my desktop. It recently made my life a lot easier when my older desktop abruptly died. Great price, great product!

My wifes Apple hard drive crashed and we had to xfer all of her data to a cloud or another hard drive, so we purchased and now she is use this product as her "hard drive"... I have velcro'd this small devise to her outside case of her computer and it works like a dream...

This is a good product. Would rate 5 stars if it didn’t come with proprietary software. Good news is that you can format it and get rid of the software unlike some other brands.

After my last external hard drive purchase, I was surprised at how small and quiet this one is. Powered from my laptop, it can be used pretty much anywhere. I use it exclusively to back up digital photos. I hope it proves to be reliable as time goes by.
