Good 1tb portable HDD for the price

One of the Best External Hard Drives I've Used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this in order to use as an extended storage for my Razer Blade as it only had 256GB of on-board storage. Knowing that it is a Hard Disk drive i knew it would not perform as fast as an SSD, but to my surprise it was still really snappy for loading my programs and transferring projects from the laptop to the drive. I have used other external Hard Disk drives but this has to be one of the best thus far. My only two complaints for this is that the enclosure gets rather hot after extended usage or when transferring large batches of files at a time and that the enclosure itself is rather large compared to others, however, this drive still serves as my daily driver and does such a great job that I recommended it to my friend who has a Macbook Pro and they love it as well.

Completely User Friendly

This comments on the packaging said it may require reformatting to use on an iMac-Apple computer. Well...it did not require much on my part. Once I hooked it up to my Mac, the Time Machine software pretty much did most of the thinking for me. And, two weeks later it came in handy as I had to do a system restore.

Convenient External Hard Drive For Document Backup
