Never used this before buying seems very good so far easy to use and has a lot of space, rep was good to suggest this is the best, both for Mac And Windows

Bought this HD as part of the Best Buy deal of the day. I checked around the internet and couldn't find a lower price. The drive came the day it was promised on the web site. It wasn't available at the closest BB, so I had it delivered, which was free. The drive is smaller than I expected (didn't see it at the store. only looked at it online). Everything worked as it should, speed is decent. Use it for my Mac and I screwed it up with formatting at the beginning, but went to Windows VM and did a quick format and everything was good to go as an external HD. Backup my files on my Mac. All is good

With an extra hard drive to store your most private files. Great to know they can safely be stored externally in case of a crash. Extremely easy to set up.

This drive can be formatted to save files from both Windows and Mac computers. The WD website has good information on how to get it set up for your needs.

Simple installation, easy assignment for time machine on my MAC. Was also simple to format the disc so that half is used for other storage as well.
