Small, easy to use, and stores more than I had to put on it or will have for quite some time.

I've reviewed previous models of this drive and my opinion remains the same. Great budget drive. Low cost without a bunch of frills. Very fast on a USB 3.1 port for streaming media without buffering. Small footprint but more than ample storage. I've owned several over the years and never had one fail me yet. If you need portable storage, this is the one. Only thing I wish the would do is provide a UCB-C cable for newer laptops.

The drive is small, and being plug in play, it worked from the start. I've had no issues or problems with it. Initially, I used it to transfer data files from and old computer I had, to a new one I bought. Now I use nit as an external back u8p, a just in case drive, and to transfer data from my desktop to my laptop. Being a musician, I use the desktop at home to write music and the laptop at rehersals and gigs. Soi far no problems.

Excellent portable drive with plenty of space for backing up PC. Good value, easy to install. Wasn't available in store but was shipped to my home next day.

Great external HD for storing photos, documents, backing up your computer, etc. I love everything except that in order to save data to the drive WD requires a software install, which isn't a big deal, I just wish I didn't have to.

Used this to add more storage to our Xbox. Plugged it in. The Xbox automatically asked to format with no issues. And I copied our existing games to it. It worked right out of the box.

I love being able to have this storage to back up my pictures for my photography class. Connecting it was very easy to my MacBook. I can't wait to take many more pictures and be able to look back on my progress throughout the semester.

The problem with computers is that nothing lasts forever and getting data off a dead PC is a waste of time. External data storage is a fast and easy fix. This one is a good solution.

I had four OS external hard drives I needed to transfer to a Windows hard drive. This has enough capacity to combine all into one, with plenty of room for future files. Works great and I love the compact size.
