Fast, easy to setup and a good price, plenty of room for portable data storage

Perfect storage solution for my needs. Solid performance and a great value!

I bought this for my son so he could expand the storage on his PS4. We watched videos on youtube showing how it was a quick and inexpensive way to add storage to the PS4. It was very simple, just plugged it into the usb port on the front and turned on the system. The PS4 said it was not formatted and if it wanted to format. We clicked yes and that was it! Very simple.

Bought this to back up laptop. But instead hooked it up to my Tablo for more storage to record Tv shows. Glad to have more space to record movies.

About as simple a way to store backups or data from several devices you may want to easily move to another as you can find. I first used it with a phone I was going to stop using. I wanted to keep everything that was on the phone but didn't need all of it transferred to my new phone. So I simply backed it up to this drive. I did have to format it from my phone when I first plugged it in, but it works great with my PC and my tablet too.

Bought this as a Deal of the Day to use for extra storage for an Xbox Series X, and it's worked well so far. For optimized Series X games, I have to move the games to the internal console drive from this external drive, but that process is pretty quick. Very happy with its performance.

I really like this product even though my first one broke. I love the amount of storage on that beast. but I don't like the cost. it's a very high-end product which I found very useful for the low-end storage on my laptop. I recommend it just don't move it while it's plugged in or it's gonna break. I feel very satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend it because it holds all of my steam games and more. the only thing I didn't really like about it was the sketchy app I had to download for it (but the app isn't essential in most cases) i really enjoyed the quality of this product. if you are looking to buy an external drive, look for one like this! your welcome

I purchased this external drive as a backup and extra security for files not replaceable if lost. This drive offers small and lightweight option to enhance the security of important files, photographs or other items you wouldnt want to lose in case of a system crash. Good value for the price

I got this for my Xbox series S, and it works perfectly. High quality. Easy to use. Great value.

Great external HD for storing photos, documents, backing up your computer, etc. I love everything except that in order to save data to the drive WD requires a software install, which isn't a big deal, I just wish I didn't have to.

Gave me the opportunity to essentially triple my hard drive space my computer was getting very bogged down this helped a lot

I've reviewed previous models of this drive and my opinion remains the same. Great budget drive. Low cost without a bunch of frills. Very fast on a USB 3.1 port for streaming media without buffering. Small footprint but more than ample storage. I've owned several over the years and never had one fail me yet. If you need portable storage, this is the one. Only thing I wish the would do is provide a UCB-C cable for newer laptops.

The drive is small, and being plug in play, it worked from the start. I've had no issues or problems with it. Initially, I used it to transfer data files from and old computer I had, to a new one I bought. Now I use nit as an external back u8p, a just in case drive, and to transfer data from my desktop to my laptop. Being a musician, I use the desktop at home to write music and the laptop at rehersals and gigs. Soi far no problems.
