I purchased this drive with the intention of using it a number of locations so it had to be very portable which it is. The small size makes it easy to transport and the large 4tb capacity makes it ideal for storing large projects on the drive. A very good deal.

I now have a couple of these 4TB gems in my collection. They are simple to use and easy to bring along. I have paired them with my MacBook to give me copious storage options on the go.

I got this to replace smaller capacity drives. I just use it to back up pictures from my desktop. As far as I can tell, it is as described. I just plug it in and use it. Got it on sale .... a great price.

The wD EasyStore drive is physically small enough but will hold enough data to make it convenient for laptop backups. I was pitting back ups off as I would have to unstore my larger drive and holder. The included backup software was easy to set up and use.

This is my second WD external drive. The first one has been backing up my system twice a day for the last 2 years without a glitch. This new one will be used for media on a PLEX server. These drives are easy to set up, small footprint and very dependable.

Does the job!! Great quality, especially for the price, and I have not run into any issues with this product at all! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a trustworthy brand for extended drives.

This drive was so easy to use. I just connected it to my USB port and it was available for data. The size is perfect. I was able to move 5 years of data a pictures to an easily accessible storage device.

Good quantity of storage for lesser price. I bought other external hard disks but got corrupted in less than 2 years. But WD is the reliable and I am using since more than 9 years(that is 250gb hard disk). I see performance of this hard disk is good.

Great price. Compact and has a lot of storage in a small package It is in an attractive case and it is very easy to use with an softwares preinstalled.

Got this to replace an old 1TB drive. At 4TB, this has a lot more storage capacity; But is smaller. I like that I can carry all my backup files with me if needed. Works just like my internal drive when using usb 3,0 slot. Great price and fast delivery !

For the price its very good hard drive. I partitions 4 tb into 2 tb each one for windows and one for Mac and its works like charm and easy to set up . I have also put it on my network router USB 3.0 to access it across the home WIFI. So far so good .

This is a very easy hard drive to work with. I didn’t have any problem with it at all. I would recommend this to anyone because of its ease of use and capacity to contain all of your important files.

This external drive is a must have. Either for storing/backing up large/lots of files or for moving files between machines. It is not too large physically and feels nice in the hand.

I purchased the drive as a backup to my computers hard drive. The USB 3.0 is fast and makes the backup process quick and easy. I store the drive off site and the portability makes this easy and efficient.

Great way to back up multiple computers onto an inhouse storage unit. Works intuitively with no glitches todate.

This device has more than enough storage capacity. Easy to use.

I got this drive to use as additional storage for my Xbox One. It does the job. I plugged it in an available USB port, and it instantly prompted me that new drive space was available. It had to format the drive, but I bought it for that purpose so I was ok with that. (Tip: save the pre-loaded software that comes with the drive to a flash drive before formatting it. If something goes wrong with it, that software may be able to recover it.) After that format process was done, I had additional storage on my console. Games load up fast enough and I have 3.5TBs of additional space. That's my only conn with the drive. As a new windows formatted drive I had 3.8 TB's of space. On my xbox I have 3.5. Both far less than 4TB but that's how drives have always been I guess. Still upsetting tho; 1/2TB's is a lot of space to give up. Other than that, I'm happy.

This device is an easy set up. Did not require much. Highly recommend, plus you can never run out of memory
