Great external hard drive for laptops. I use this to increase my storage and back up the laptop

Easy to set up for Mac or PC. I use this unit with a PC. Speedy and easy on space - small footprint. I’m still blow away that I can buy a quality 4TB portable drive at this price.

I still have the original ps4 with 500gb hard drive, which is basically pointless. 4tb is amazing!! if you want 2tb it is $20~ cheaper but you just as well get the 4tb. works great with my ps4; took less than 5 minutes to format and now all my playstation network games are on the external hard drive while my main games are on the internal one. I never buy the high quality games digitally; like COD, Star wars, Destiny because I never had the hard drive space, but now I can. and at an affordable price! I highly recommend this for any gamer.

This portable hard drive was very easy to use and will store a ton of pictures. This is a great way to back up your hard drive without having to rely on the cloud.

Easy to use and plenty of space to back up my files! Requires formatting for a Mac, but it’s a simple process and it walks you through. Would buy again, especially with the sale price!

The external hard drive is compact and runs quietly. It was easy to setup and does a great job of backing up my pictures and documents. Highly recommend it!

It's great to have 4TB of space in one single device, and the USB 3.0 interface make this very useful to transfer big amount of files, I was able to back up all my photos, movies, music and have enough free space for more than the next year

I purchased thos for my PS4. Super easy to install. And has plenty of storage for my games. It was a great buy for the price. So far no issues. I have had it a couple months now.

Ran out of space on my Xbox One and with all the updates increasing in size for 4K gaming on the Xbox One X, I needed to purchase an external drive so I could store my every growing game library. Quality product and worth every penny.

This was a real value for the task it is assigned to. A USB 3.0 hookup as an external data drive for my Xbox One. No external power is required for these small, compact, very high capacity storage drives.I know I can rely on a WD for years. Leave the other brands on the shelves if your criteria is capacity, reliability and value.. Yes there are a lot of very fast drives out there, if you need a lot of storage that you expect to forget about sitting there this is the product.. It was on sale for a one hundred dollar bill.

Bought second one as a gift after using mine for a year with great results. Works well with consoles, make it very easy to bring your games library with when upgrading systems

I bought this to store my excess data and to use it to stream content to my Plex server. It has worked flawlessly for me so far (I've been using it about a month). It has been very quick to copy to and to read from using a USB 3.0.

This is so easy to use, plug in and transfer.. my 6 year old niece could figure this out. I bought this for my Xbox Project Scorpio. It is more than enough storage for my few games (20 or so).. I still have excess of 2 1/2 tb left.

I love this external hard drive. It's a lot smaller than you would think and the 4TB capacity is plenty for my needs. Got it on sale during Cyber week so it was a no brainer.

I think Best Buy offered very reasonable rate for the hard drive. Lowest in price among all other vendors without compromise in quality. I think the wd case along with this product makes a trendy pair that too at discounted price
