Actually thinking of buying another as it is sorta on the deal of the day. Can’t wait till they allow Best Buy to sell 6-9 tb usb-c drives at reasonable prices. Thank you western digital and best but

I needed a portable drive that would give me extra storage for the family PC and laptops, and this does the job well. Not nearly as fast as an SSD, but I didn't buy it for speed...and the sale price was reasonable. A bit thicker than lower capacity drives, but will fit in most external hard drive cases (I prefer Case Logic).

I bought this by review from friend so I can keep my computer running efficiently.

Great external hard drive for photos and videos!!!

It is a very good storage but feeling something is turning like a fan inside is bothering me. it heats when you upload too much things. Other than that, I really like and enjoy the design and plenty of storage.

Ran out of space for my iTunes library. Bought this drive, plugged it in, and transferred iTunes to it. Bought two sided tape and now this drive rides on the top of my Mac. Never a problem.

Great drives. I boulght 2 so I could put them in a Windows storage pool. They act like a RAID 1 array so they are mirrored. Exactly what I wanted. 4 TB instant local backup without scheduling tasks and such.

I've had a lot of big, cheap, and slow drives— I use them as archival media for projects. I wasn't expecting speed, and the price and form factor are really nice. What I hate is how often this drive refuses to mount— almost anything will trigger it (accidental disconnect, machine goes to sleep and abruptly dismounts drive, moving the drive before the platters have spun down, etc). I end up spending about 20-30 minutes (because it's such a big drive) with the WD tools COMPLETE SCAN— that's the only thing that will restore function. I'm almost ready to try getting a warranty repair/exchange.

Digital photography comes down to storage and that means backup. 4TB will handle my needs ... for a while, anyway, and Western Digital drives have been good!

This item is easy to use, for beginners or advanced folks. Very small and portable as well.

Love this product and great value for the money! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is I think the instructions as well as the process for automatically backing up could be easier. I was led down a rabbit trail of having to repeatedly register the product until I finally reached out to customer support to figure out how to get around the unnecessary steps.

The hard drive is not a solid state dive. It is very slow and makes the download difficult. I am considering retuning thie “easystore” and try the “elements”. The store I visited did not have the elements brand.

What a great drive it is big enough for storage and small enough is fit in my jacket so when I need to move big data from my PC to a friends PC no problem I also a 4TB WD external at home but it is a 3.5 size drive it is good also but its big in size to carry around and I also purchased at BestBuy great prices both
