It does what it is meant for. Provides around 3.5 TB storage. Compact size, easy to carry. 32GB drive was a bonus.

Been Using WD Drives For Years, VERY Low Failure Rate maybe 3 drives in the past 20 years. Anyway looking for a Backup Drive came across this on Black Friday, had to look twice at Best Buys Deal, 4T for 89.00 Bucks and a throw in Flash Drive, Being in the IT Field for 22 plus years it was a no brainer at that price! So Good bought 2 of these, so far no Issues running strong and plenty of room for my daily backups. Thanks Best Buy for the Smokin price on these!

The Western Digital brand equals the best quality in Hard Drives, Flash Drives, and Portable Hard Drives. I own several of these Portable Hard Drives and have never had a failure. Of course all mechanical units will eventually fail, these portable units are not meant to be used all of the time, unlike your internal Hard Drive in your computer. I own both USB powered and AC powered Portable Hard Drives. These are definitely worth the investment.

I have had good experiences using WD drives on my Xbox One as well as my PC, and this was a great deal that also included a flash drive. I keep it in my laptop bag so I always have something handy when I need to do a quick transfer, and the hard drive stays connected to my Xbox to give me much needed expansion. WD drives have worked well for me in the past, and I'll continue to buy them when I need extra storage without the hassle of doing an internal swap.

Good basic hard drive for storing data. Not the fastest drive, but good enough for a portable unit that can be transported easily to transfer data from one computer to another. Not as convenient as a small flash drive, but it offers much more data space for those times when you are transporting bigger files or just more files. Seems to go on sale every other month, so you can wait until the next sale for the best price.

I’ve had external HDs before. I expected somewhat slow performance. But to my surprise this thing is fast! It seems to move just as quick as my internal drives. And best of all, I paid $85 for this 4tb monster. Its so easy to use. Plug and play. And now I don’t worry about the huge GoPro video files I have to manage. Lots of space. Lots of convenience. Unexpected speed. I really like this thing.

Bought this for use with an Xbox one x. So many games. So little hard drive space. Quick formatting. Easy to set up and transfer current game to the new hard drive. Seems to be faster than the Xbox hdd. One note. Turn on the Xbox first then plug in the external drive. Plus this is small and easy to tuck away or take to friends home.

Great external hard drive for PS4. With the trend toward more digital PS4 games and downloadable DLC, would recommend getting a larger external hard drive than you might think you would need, depending on what you can afford. This hard drive goes on sale regularly, so watch and try to catch it on sale to save a few bucks. The extra flash drive that came with it was also a nice bonus.

Purchased this on special for $79.99 and the 4 TB of external HD space, coupled with the added on 32gb mini flash drive really makes this an excellent deal! Highly recommend this to anyone looking to add external needs for space. I plugged it into my computer and it was instantly recognized and super easy to use.

Needed an external portable disk drive for my MacBook Pro. This was on sale at a great price and has worked perfectly. I've been a fan of Western Digital for many years. This is the best WD purchase ever. (Stay away from Seagate. Lost all data on 1.5TB and 1.0TB drives when they failed within warranty.. Called support and despite the known problem, they refused to honor warranty.)
