Purchase this because it was on sale and also I needed this for my other PS4 system. I already had an external but it had to be plug to an outlet so I wanted something more convenient that didn’t need a wall outlet to operate. I have well over 250 games and this size is perfect for what I needed in a external device.

Convenient and easy to use storage of family documents, pics, and music for all of lifes memories without bogging down your laptop, tablet or computer.

Excellent storage space and adequate speed for anyone looking to free up space on their 1TB PS5 SSD. Not as fast as an SSD, but it performs very well when storing and playing PS4 games on your PS5. And 5TB should me more than enough to store all of your favorite throwbacks, as well as many others!

Easy Buy. Easy to use drive and value you pay for a 5TB drive. I would of given this 5 stars but one of the drives I bought was DOA.

works really well and is very fast! I had no trouble connecting it to my PC and using it for backing up files and media// I also used to back up some stuff on my console xbox series X , it will work as both media game capture or can store old gen games as well

It is the right size I need for everything in a small pocket box. It is also really light that I can easily bring it with me wherever I go. I got this amazing deal back in Thanksgiving for a small personal treats. I have been using it since the day I got for storing all my loved pictures/videos!! RECOMMEND!

I had a 2TB Seagate external drive for that finally went bad. I was lucky to buy this drive and move everything over before the Seagate went bust. No problem on setting it up. I used their software which was easy enough. I eventually deleted that application because it ended up too chatty for my needs.

I lost my last external drive and needed to replace. I've got multiple WD products and they never let me down so far. Easy to use and it is pretty fast. Downloading around 500GB of photos was easy, took some time obviously due to the size of the files but extremely happy with this product. solidly built.

Works like a charm. If you want to be picky, it's a bit slow but who cares at least you have plenty of room to store everything and that is better than not having a back up. Worth every dollar spent.

Very easy to use wither you need more memory for your gaming console or computer, although devices like these do not contain the exact number of storage they say they do it's still plenty of space even if you download more things than you need

Easy peezy operations and storage simple to use. Backups are a breeze and extra storage is worth it.

Western Digital is the best in my opinion. I use it as my primary non-cloud storage device between computers. So far works great. Take in account these Best Buy reviews cannot be edited in the future or completed more than six months after purchase. At least I have found no way to do it. Jan 23, 2021

One of the best external storage devices I have ever bought. I’ve bought many of these over the years. This by far is the best one I’ve ever had. Many were more expensive but have been nightmares. You never have to wonder if your data has been successfully transferred and saved. Tons of storage space!!!

Very easy to store files just like the name says. Effective way to control your backup rather then rely solely on one of the cloud services.

This Is everything I will ever need, 5 Terabytes of storage is huge and I don't think I will every be able to fill this up in an entire year of shooting video. I have a 1TB SSD that was just about full, looking for more storage options I stumbled upon this, for the price it was an absolute must.

I have used WD External Drives for many years. Easy to us just plug them in. I have never has one fail. The drives have gotten smaller as the storage space has gotten larger. I use them to backup my computers and telephone.

This portable hard drive is perfect to use to store all my digital pictures. Rather than take up my computer space, all photos go to this. It is compact about the size of a clutch purse. I can take it to my parents and connect to their computer to view on the larger screen all the many photos.

Purchased this for my husband for Father's Day. It is very compact. It was very easy to use, just plug into his xbox and go. It stores all of the games he wanted to download with so much room to spare.
