Needed to replace my old 2TB external hard drive and was pleasantly surprised at how much smaller this 5TB hard drive is. So much easier to fit on my desk! Also doesn't need to be powered like the previous one, so much more travel friendly. Functionality is exactly as one would expect from a hard drive.

I love these WD Easystore external drives. I have 3 - one of them I use to extend my Sony PS4 and works great. The others I use to backup my PC. I've had 2 of them for years now and have had no issues.

Nothing to complain about. The HDD works as intended. Bought it for my son who used it almost daily for the last 6+ months. He is pleased with it. It is quiet although it appears to be always spinning making me anticipate the HDD’s end of life will come sooner than later. Good product.

This is the typically perfect WD drive. Compact, no external supply, no moving parts as far as I can tell. My only reservation is that the supplied usb cable could have been about 18 inches longer. Whatever, for a drive of this superior quality I'll gladly buy another cable. Western Digital rocks!

I purchased this external HD as a replacement for my 2TB HD that was starting to run low on space after about 4 years of using it. I expect to get the same lifetime out of this HD. I've had it for a few weeks now and i haven't had any issues transferring data over.

Love it it's my fifth one i store all my photos and slide shows that i make with my photos.also stores all my down load music and any thing i rip..highly recommend this because laptops today do not come with enough storage

Bought this to make routine backups of files on my desktop. The backup app that comes with it does the job well. I like it because it is small (easy to store in safe place) and doesn't require separate power. Bought it on sale so I am happy with the price.

My family often downloads so many new games the come out. We have multiple consoles but we also have Xbox Game Pass. This storage device is great. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy to use and store your information. There does not include a case to carry or storage of the drive.

Worked well for my bfs new ps5. He picked it out i just paid lol for xmas. So he can download his games on it but if he want to play a game he has to move it to thw play station. I feel the ps5 needing an external hard drive and this issue of having to move games back and forth is a major ps5 flaw! But the graphics of the ps5 blow the ps4 away and i dont even game and even I was impressed. I do sit for hours with him and watch him play i just can't for medical reasons ( carpoltunnel)

I have purchased several Easytore External Hard Drives for storage of movies, Television series and music. To date the External drives have never failed.

Writing a review long after purchase. These hard drives are great. Have used it every day for almost two years and it's working perfectly. Have since purchased another for a friend. Best Buy always coming through with great products!

This was a great buy and is easy to use. The only problem is it keeps asking me permission to do something and that's from the software that was downloaded and no matter how many times I say yes this happens with every time I turn my computer on.

It does exactly what it is supposed too. Keep in mind it is a lot slower than an SSD because it is a mechanical drive, however using as just a “bookshelf” for all my files per say, it works great. It was able to transfer 2TB of data in roughly 1hr 30min.

Wow 5TB I will never run out of memory now! I bought this external hard drive during Black Friday. Wish I would have bought two of them. Love how Best Buy always has great prices plus don’t forget they match prices too! My son is going to be so happy when he opens this during Christmas morning. :)

The external hard disk came at a right time to backup our data at right price. I am extremely happy with this hard disk
