I've been using these drives for a while and have never run into any issues with them. Great drives inexpensive and lightweight perfect for travel and home storage. I do recommend the protective travel case if you are going to travel with it. If you do plan to encrypt this drive, because of the size it will take a while meaning several hours at least Overall I highly recommend this drive.

Great working condition and great customer service

Excellent extra external storage. Works fantastic and whisper quiet. Pro tip: if you're on a Mac then install the software from WD and the hard drive will work like a charm. I kept fighting with Mac OS to get it to work but then simply installed the application for it and bam worked like a charm.

Pretty efficient writing and reading speed for daily use including data back up and file transfer. A solid stated drive at this price range with 5T storage is attractive in my opinion.

I dj and use this hard drive to store music on for work. Files do not get corrupted and songs sound amazing. It stores a ton of music and is perfect for what i need.

very practical size, easy to connect, doesn't weight much

Easy to use and compact . Great for backing things up on a laptop. Not very loud either. Seems pretty durable.

Love these portable hard drive’s that don’t require an external power source. Bought this 5Tb version for $89.99 during Black Friday to replace a 500gb backup. All of my drives are WD, bought at least 15- 20 over the last 30yrs. With the advent of lower price and increased storage... why not.

Purchased to use for back ups. Easy to set up and enough space (5TB) to back up a laptop. It does the job. Too early to tell how long it will hold up to use; but do we ever know? I purchased when it was on sale, so I got a little more value for the money,

I have a few of these also the Black gaming one. They are excellent for what they are and how cheap they can be on sale. Haven't had a problem with them yet. They might be a little on the slow side but if you're using it for backing up or something you don't really need to pay attention to they are fine. after all 4-5TB can be had for under $100. if you need speed spend more money. Also, Best Buy makes it so easy. just buy it online and it's at your door in no time flat. thanks BB!

I am very impressed with the speed nd storage capacity for a device of this size and price. I had been searching for a device with more the 3TB, and almost picked another device. I highly recommend this hard drive, if you have a lot of photos, files, and games that you want to safely store.

Very happy with purchase. Useing it for my xbox ally and put most of my games on it.

Easy to install, simple plug and play. Decent speeds but it’s more about its reliability. Have had a few of these exact models for PlayStation and Xbox games that are backcompats so it’s big enough to hold quite a large library of previous generation games.

incredible. I cannot believe such a storage solution is this accessible for 2020 into 2021. I dreamed of the day I could buy a product this good back in 2007-08 and it wasn't there yet without being hundreds of dollars. This is the affordable storage solution to end all storage solutions.

Great drive. I was able to take 4 seperate computers and download them to this one drive. In addition, i downloaded my phone seperate from clound. Still have plenty of room left.
