This is awesome! I got sick and tired of deleting and re-installing games on my PS4. This has made things so much easier and so much better. I might have to buy more games to get my full use of it! Easy (more like practically no) installation. Highly recommend this for PS4 use.

My old 4 TB EasyStore died and needed a quick replacement, and this was a perfect upgrade. I really like that it doesn’t need external power.

Picked this up for a great deal and have been able to copy all the data from all my old hard drives onto just this one. Sometimes it glitches with my Mac and I have to connect it to Windows to fix errors, but no data is ever lost.

I realized while digitizing some old VHS home movies that I was going to need some additional storage. WD to the rescue! The drive was a simple setup and offered quick transfer rates when moving files. The 5TB space means I won't have to worry about storage foe a while!

I am photographer who needs storage after storage. I used to play with 3 different 1gb storage but now i Just take this one around and i am good. still have few more gigs to share after a year of usages. will need to get a second one shortly.

My wife just recently started a photography business and she needed ample storage space to keep all of the photos from her photo shoots. This exceeds that and is very good for backing up things happened to the computer.

Have only had it for a short while but so far it’s a terrific machine. I just use it to make backups (via the Terminal) of files on a drive that isn’t backed up with Time Machine.

Not the fastest but nice to have such affordable storage. Small, portable size.

Bought to store my PS4 games when using my PS5. Works great. I've downloaded over 100 games so far with no problems. I can also use it to store PS5 games when I'm not playing them, which saves time rather than deleting them and redownloading them later on.

This was a really good/smart purchase. This external HD is fast and has so much storage space. It literally replaced 3 old HDD's and still has about 3.5TB of space available. I got it on sale during the holidays, and would suggest it, if you are in need of a portable HD.

Teachers are now filmmakers, so our hard drives were filling, fast. I've been using WD products for years; cost effective and reliable. It was, with a little formatting, easy to set up on a Mac. No issues to speak of yet - handles read/write during editing just fine. What's most impressive is the Best Buy service - we needed it overnight and it was shipped overnight. I'm not sure how they're doing it. I just hope it's being done safely, for the sake of staff. You guys really helped us in a bind and we're grateful!

This is an excellent drive with plenty of storage. Because it runs off USB power, it's very convenient for transferring large files between different machines. I've successfully used in on Windows and Linux machines.

Works well. I purchased it for external storage for my PS4. It was plug and play. I just plugged it in. The PS4 asked to permission to reformat it, which I gave it. Then it was ready to use to store alll my games. No more more deleting games so I can update another. :)

I buy these whenever I see them on sale. I have back ups for My backups lol. And I give them away- like if my mom needs one, I’ll have one on hand I can give her.
