Works great, and it's so much nicer to not have to have the DC power cable with it everywhere. Have had it plugged in, transferring files for a few days straight, no overheating issues. I've had MyBooks since early 2000s and this is even better.

I originally bought this as external storage for my PS4. It works great! Easy to use, just plug and play. I've since plugged this into my PS5 and it also works perfectly. All of my PS4 games stored on the drive play on the PS5!

This is a great purchase for the price and because it is a 5 terabyte USB 3.0 Hard Drive. You can save a lot of 4k movies or high quality images and music. definitely will recommend it to anyone looking to backup their movie collection of precious pictures!!

I use these as Xbox storage for downloaded games. Not sure why there truly is a difference as you can usually pick these up for less than the Xbox branded storage devices. Good buy for any reason, but this is just one.

I bought this hard drive for my son to use for college. So far it's been a great buy. He has room to most of his school projects on.

Purchased this for my computer since I only have 1tb internally. You do have to format it which is a whole process thats kind of confusing for new timers. Other than that it does whats its supposed to which is store more videos, pics, songs, etc.

Another dependable Best Buy product and deal. This is so amazingly light and small- the whole reason I bought it online, to use for future travel, for photos...I was not disappointed when I received it! And the Best Buy daily sales are amazing.

WD 5 TB drive is small, quiet, and fast transferring data over USB 3.0 at 70+MB per sec. Many drive utilities report heat as an issue with these drive so you must calibrate the temperature in order to be accurate. Good drive, great price, great value

Are usually purchase these for all my video storage so far so good no problems. Will continue purchasing these as storage units.

Great deal and great hard drive. I was constantly having to delete my games because my PS4 only has 1TB built in but this 5TB hard drive came in handy so I no longer have that problem. It was very easy to install too. I love it and definitely recommend!

I'ts great, but I HATE it when people say it's a certain size when it never is. This drive is actually 4.5TB which is 500GB shy. To me, that's a LARGE discrepency. I'll still leave 4 stars as it was fine for me, but by a hair. I had 4.4TB of storage to transfer. It was close.

That extra space you need for your Xbox so don't have to install or uninstall the games you download it holds at least 40 games or more depends on the size of games also keeps your internal hard drive freed up.well worth the purchase can't go wrong

Worked perfectly right out of the package. I’m using it to store all my family pictures and videos for my PLEX Server. So far so good. Very responsive and fast for a small form factor external HDD. Recommended.
