A whole heck of a lot of space for under a 100 bucks. Using it to backup files from multiple hard drives sitting around. Substantially lighter and quicker then these portables were even just a few short years ago. Can't go wrong.

It’s a WD, what more to say! I use it solely to rip my DVDs to the drive as I’m getting yelled at that 6000+ movies is too many to keep in the house. Works great for that and data in general as I have a few of these.

Good little drive for all your storage needs. Write speeds seem to stay around 100MB/s and the drive stays pretty cool at 40C. With the Chia farming craze this is also one of the best $/TB you can currently get.

I have a few of these that I used to temporarily back up files while on the road and then move to my home NAS. I’ve had no issues so far and like that extra security of having that temp backup.

same results. I own plenty of hardcopy

these hd. With separating by VR, action, and
family fun, I can't wait. Great price does what
I need.

The moment I plugged this into my blu ray player, I was able to view all the video clips I created. Just plug it in and the blu ray player immediately recognized it. This is a handy device to store all your hi res pics and videos.

WD brand is one of the most known ones in the marked, so just go for it. Works really well and lasts long. I have another 1TB HD that is holding really good for the last 6 years.

This drive is our daily backup and since we live in forest fire country it is ready to leave with us at a moments notice. Being big i holds everything from pictures, videos, and music to Norton backup files.

This works very fast on 3.0 USB.
I stored about 100 GB of photos on it, and then used Vera Crypt to make two 800 GB encrypted files to securely store data files.
Once recognized by the OS, it's a simple drag and drop to store the files.
I used it right out of the box on Linux and Windows machines.
I have a 3 TB easystore for about 3 years now, and it was my happiness with it that lead me to get the 5TB one.
Can't have too many backups
I would recommend this to a friend

A solid choice for an external hard drive. I've had it for 9 months and no problems so far, so hopefully it won't crap out on me. Although, almost all drives do at some point so be careful!

I needed extra storage device to connect to my NAS. This was a better way for me to have duplicate storage to connect to other devices without going/using the cloud option.
Trusted WD since the 80's.
