I plugged it in to my Windows 10 laptop and it works with no issues. I haven't tried the Western Digital backup software. I use something else, but it is probably fine, too.

Plugged in the usb drive and ran a Windows quick format (included installation file on disk would not run) and then moved data onto it. A great way to free up space on the SSD.

This is awesome! Using it as additional storage for the PS4! Works great. Now the kids don’t have to argue over which game to delete so that they can add a new one!

I ordered the item on-line and selected a mail delivery but messages from Best Buy Store kept wanting me to pick up the item at your TO, CA store. It took several requests to send by mail. Finely, it was sent by mail. The item was as I expected it to be and very easy to put into operation.

I use this to store GoPro footage from my motorcycle rides. It works and have no complaints!

Works as expected. What else can one say about an external drive? My backups filled this to about 50% so there's still plenty of room to grow.

A good quality back up drive for all your pics and important documents. Since it was on sale I purchased 2 extras to give all of the family pics so they can enjoy.

Great storage option for on the go. Uses one cable to connect, just wish it was a type C but it works great. Havent had any issues with connection or speed thus far.

I dont have internet. Since i know the oligarchy wants every app device out data mining and everything is chinese junk i bought a geek squad warrenty. Of course the device was programmed to most likely data mine as the only option was to connect to the internet. So i contacted geek squad who gave me but a few options take it to store hundreds of miles away. Pay for someone to come put files on my drive. I kept telling her i would never need anyone just to put files on a drive i just need it installed. I also kept asking her if i could just format it deleting the data mining program. She was stuck on them 2 options. So i said return it then. While i was waiting for transfer i decided to try to just format it. By the time the other lady got on the phone i was placing files on the drive. It seems to be working fine quiet too. Ive already put 3 terabytes on it. So drive 4 not 5 for data mining bs geek sqaud 2 as i may still have to return it. I dont think the geek sqaud lady knew anything but them 2 options.

Great drive, have a few of these. Mostly use them for backup, but they are pretty fast for file transfers and backup. Dependable and a good value. I would recommend.
