This is a solid value. I guess that if there is any criticism, it is that it can get quite hot if you are copying files for a lengthy amount of time.

I bought this a year ago and have to say it is smaller than a phone. 5TB Hard Drive holds a lot of space. This one is going to last a long time. The amount of pictures and documents that I have on this hard drive is unbelievable. The price on these get better and better and the size gets smaller and smaller. Go for it. You won't be disapointed.

Excellent portable hard drive. You don't need the power cord as it runs off the 5 volts through the USB cable. Love it!

Christmas present for our daughter she loves it! Has much more room on her Xbox one for games she wants! Would purchase again.

I bought this so my kids could download Xbox Game Pass games and it has enabled them to download more than 100. It was great to purchase it on sale.

I have been using this drive for the past year to backup photos and movies and it has been flawless in operation. I've seen some other reviews and blogs where these drives don't appear to be connecting/working correctly, but I just make sure to use the short connection cable and a USB port with good power and it works/connects every time. Bought it on sale for $90 and it a great value.

My second of these. Simple plug and play. NO encryption to mess up. Very portable, no external power source needed. I use it for backing up photos and files.

Works as intended and have used it thus far to hold my digital collection of Xbox titles.. would definitely recommend!

This is an excellent external hard drive to put files, pictures, etc and can transfer to any pc as well. Also it is fast to transfer files as well.

WD makes excellent products. This is intended for storage and regular use will shorten the lifespan. The WD black game drive is better for that purpose
