Performs as advertised. Documentation is complete and clear. Small, light and rugged, excellent choice for use with my laptop.

Purchased this for my son's bday. He needed more memory on his computer. The price was a Black Friday special. It works well for him.

I got this item on sale, and it was worth every cent! 5TB means I can backup all of my photos, and keep them all in one spot, along with backing up the rest of my data. With today's file sizes being so large (especially with photos), more storage capacity is always needed. I tend to leave mine on my desk, and don't move it around, but the fact that it is portable is another bonus.

Very portable hard drive to use and the lots of space for travel videos which i use for, I recommend this drive.

For the price, this is an excellent small external storage option that can easily fits into your pocket for on-the-go. Price to storage ratios per gig is awesome. What's not to like about this drive? Well, for USB 3.0 it's fast enough, but would have been a lot faster if it has an internal SSD drive instead of a basic spinning mechanic drive (for the price, it's expected).

Nice small external drive with a large capacity. Fast USB3 connection. WD backup software is easy to setup and use. With the money.

I have zero issues with this hard drive. I have it set up on my Mac mini as a backup for pictures and GoPro videos and it works great

Exactly as described. Nine months later, it's still plugging away. With 24/7 usage. I'm using it on a USB 2.0 computer, so I can't speak to the speed, but it's a great device.
