Bought this to store my pictures from past vacations on and to back up my computer. Lots of storage, easy to use, and great price!

5 Terabytes is plenty big for me to store all my music, movies, and important files. I even have one for my game console. Perfect if you have to many games in your library and want to offset some to an external storage device. I recommend you grab some Velcro and stick it on the surface of this har drive and your system if it’s gonna be stationary and you don’t mind some minor adhesive residue on the surface when your finally decide to remove the Velcro.

I'm using this to sort my files form all my different storage places - computer, 2 different external hard drives, and my 7 different online storage locations. It continues to work. It adapts will being plugged into whatever computer I have available at the time to work. Solid, dependable, and enough storage space to do what I need it to do.

It worked perfect to hold 20 years of pictures. Compact enough to carry in purse and easy to plug in to any computer.

Massive and quick storage in a fairly small package. Price was good and was in stock at our Best Buy store.

WD - Easystore 5TB external drive is good for a quick backup of my MacBook Files. They are dependable and last long and is convenient to carry in my backpack. I highly recommend this drive.

Best portable hard drive I have purchased. I use it to save all my photos and videos that take up space on my iPhone and Mac’s. I take a lot of pictures for my business and for personal and needed lots of storage space. This saves me time and I have plenty of storage.

This is my 2nd one these purchased. Very handy - small, transportable and fast! A lot of storage in the palm of your hand.

Easy to use and does the trick. Plus it has enough storage. I have a Mac so I had to reformat it as I wanted to use Time Machine - but that’s not an issue for me. And I partitioned the drive so I could back up files and switch between a PC and a Mac - and then have the other partition for Time Machine. But if you want it ready to go, then you may want to get something that is already formatted for the MAC. I’ve not had it that long to know how long it will last but - So far so good.

I love this one, I have a lot of space now to save my important files and documents. I am satisfied with the price and quality.

I've purchased several of these (not because they've failed) but because I need so much storage! Reliable, easy to setup, and easy to transport if needed. Does what it says on the tin. Been very pleased with these drives!

Excellent for clones and/or General Backup. The WD drives I have purchased have been reliable for making clones of computer system and also for general backups. Reasonably fast on modern computers with USB 3.0 ports. Obviously if used with a USB 2.0 port is slower. But really, the price is right for 5TB drives currently. Every now and then some 10TB drives are on special sale but the 4-5TB drives are at the optimal price point in summer 2020. Note: SSD's can be faster but cost a lot more.

Great price for a such compact 5TB hard drive. Got it during thanksgiving. Super happy with the performance till now.
