      I use this USB HDD to get an up-to-date snapshot of my NAS - it's connected to my NAS 24x7, always on and I haven't had any issues with it at all for well over a year. It's also USB-bus powered so that there's no need for external power source other than the USB cable itself.

      This has worked well. I needed to move large files and temporarily store them while working on other hardware and software issues. This is a good HD but I prefer password encrypted hard drives, which this is not.
