Purchased this to use as a backup and extra storage for my Xbox One. I love that its portable and I can take this bad boy with me anywhere. I have stored over 100 games and still haven't made a dent in the storage. Cheaper than buying name brand Xbox brand. I highly recommend this!

My first unit arrived non-functional. WD Technical Support worked with me to verify the status, then told me to return it to Best Buy. I returned it, and ordered another one. It works great! I use it to backup 2 computers. He backups are quick, and verify properly. Great speed, large storage, and a small footprint.

I use it to store all of the movies and series on my Dish DVR. Easy to use; just plug into your device, format it and start transferring files (movies). Those files are watchable from the storage drive itself, accessible thru the DVR. I purchased the drive on sale for $99 at Christmas. Highly recommend!

I use these to backup my hard drives and store large sports videos that I don't need to maintain on my computer's hard drive allowing me to free up space on the drives. 4-5TB is ideal for holding two years worth of video files. I've found the Easystore drives to be highly reliable and very cost effective.

Very Good Unit all round. Plenty of Capacity. I formatted it easyFat and use it with Windows and Apple computers. It has to be powered via USB and this prevents it from use with iPad using Camera Kit connector. But, I can use a powered USB hub to get around this problem. The unit is very quite in operation. I am still fuzzy and rather nervous as to why I cannot reliably Eject the Unit on Windows (sometime you see ita nd sometime you do not). The reason I am nervous is that if the unit is disconnected with proper eject, I can lose the complete drive - cannot be used or reformatted. This has happened to me several time with such external drives in the past. Wish there was a "guaranteed protection" against this. As of now, I assume the drive is not fortified against that. This is a high risk for me, given that capacity and the backups for which I am planning to use. Barring this, it is a wonderful unit and great value for the under $100 I paid for it.

The Western Digital is an choice for people who use Apple Macs at home for their Time Machine backups. It has enough space for long time and multiple backups. It works well automatically. Best Buy had it in stock and was available for curbside pickup during the pandemic. The price was reasonable.

This is great and compact drive for adding your photos and digital docs etc to free up space on your computer or phones. I gotit on sale for a steal of a price too totally worth it!

I bought the WD easystore 5TB HD at 84.99 during Black Friday sale. I am very happy with this small size large memory portable HD. This HD is using USB to Micro B cable which is the same as the cable for WD MY passport HD. So I can switch cable to access my passport HD.

Good value for the capacity....was really hoping for a faster SSD...but this price was a better fir for my back-up needs.

Great little external hard drive for backing up everything on my laptop and desktop. The 5 TB is more than enough room and since this is my second one, it's a great insurance backup of my backup. Highly recommend always backing up all your stuff. This Easystore was a great price and works as expected.

I purchased this as a replacement for my another hard drive, which is low capacity and very old. I got this as black Friday deal from Best Buy. I really like the small size and storage capacity. WD is reputed brand and I'm very happy with the purchase. Easy to set up. I'll highly recommend this product.

I needed another external drive that had enough space and that is portable because I am a music producer and I'm constantly creating, receiving and sending files. So far so good. Based on the reviews, I'm happy with my purchase. And it was very easy to get it up and running on my iMac.

This drive is great. Lots of storage capacity at 5TB. Small size. Reliable. Easy to use. Even with online backups, I still set aside drives for safe keeping. I highly recommend picking 1 up.

This Western Digital external hard drive has great storage space 5 TB and the price is unbeatable at $90 only available on Best Buy. The USB 3.0 cable is still compatible with most computers nowadays for fast data transfer even if the latest USB technology is 3.2.

I've used WD drives before, and have always been happy with their performance. So far, this one is no exception. It is compact and speedy. My only complaint is with respect to the cable, which requires a special connector on one end, meaning you have to carry an extra cable just for this unit. Also be aware the the connector is a USB A plug on the other end; you'll need a hub or adaptor if you only have USB C ports.

We were looking for a large capacity external hard drive to backup two computers each with internal 1TB SSD's so we could move some files into "storage" and clear up some space on both computers. Needless to say, this drive has more than enough capacity and was certainly reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This is a great product to have for backing up a full hard drive or even multiple computers. I already have 2 others from this company for my gaming systems and had to have this one for the price point, quality and ease of use
