Wait for them to go on sale if you can wait. I've been using WD eternal HDD for a while. They are reliable, easy to use, supports multiple OS platforms and no need for extra power source, just plug n' play.

Very Light and Portable

Transfer speed was good - I don’t remember experiencing any long and delayed transfers. The inbuilt Discovery software did not install on my computer with Windows 10, but that installation was not necessary for just transferring files to it properly. When I accessed the drive from my computer the very first time, the space available was about 4.5 TB, but I am not sure if the inbuilt Discovery software was taking up 0.5 Terabytes!
