Works fine, never had a problem with other previous ones I bought, lots of space, good value, fill it up with data and put in a metal container, remember the data is more valuable than the computer.

It is exactly as they say, easy. Easy to set up, easy to carry around, even in the box, and at 5T it has ample room for most backups.

Power glitches from our local LA utility company meant our video/audio studio kept losing hard drives (and occasionally entire computers). While we have a vast collection of pro-grade external drives, these little 5TB WDs are inexpensive, work well, and are an excellent way to back up data when you're really in a bind.

Purchased this hard drive last month. The download and set up took less than two minutes. The size is convenient for travel. I wish it come with a case. But i have just been using the clamshell from the manufacturer packaging to hold in while in my laptop case until i find one that fits. Once running it it kind of loud and vibrates which is slightly distracting. Made of sturdy material
