Purchased to keep the HDD free in the new series X. I’ve loaded every Call of Duty game made (except for one) on this 5TB drive with plenty of room left to spare for my other games. The only issue I’ve had is that when I loaded Cold War (for the series X) the Xbox told me it’s best to load it onto the internal HDD for optimal performance rather than the external HDD. It did allow me the option to load it onto the external HDD, but I went with what was recommended .

Great bang for the buck if you need to move a decent amount of data around. Nice that it's USB 3. Will probably be the last external non-solid state drive I buy.

This hard drive is great when you’re on the go with a large capacity storage I’m able to store everything I need and then transfer data layer or I’m able to do my backups on my laptop, which is a lifesaver when my laptop sometimes crashes

I own it for a couple of weeks and so far it is working properly. It's not too bulky, The speed of reading and writing is nice. I mostly use to store videos and so far it's great. I tried for gaming storage and it worked great too ( I used for gaming first then as a video storage)
I would recommend it if you are looking something to store your game for you Xbox, of course the speed of loading the game will be the same as the HHD so be warned. It doesn't overheat which is good.

I wanted something portable that I could use as a backup drive to free up my hard drive space on my computer. This is the perfect amount of space for photos, documents, and some video clips. However, Im not sure I would recommend it for large video files as I would consider upgrading to more space. The transfer speed off my computer is reasonable. For its price point I believe this to be a good value.

Solid hard drive that I got for a good price on sale. Good storage, doesn't run slowly, not too big. One complaint: the port connecting to the hard drive itself seems easy to bend, but not a deal breaker by any means.

At ~$105 for a 5TB External Hard Drive & USB3 in 2021, this is a good deal. Reliable drive, saves space. A plus is it doesn't need it's own power source like some decent-sized external drives.
